Slider card

Hi,

My aunt's birthday is coming up and I made her a special  slider card.
I found the idea and tutorial on Nicole Heady's blog.

http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2007/10/3.html.

It's not a difficult project to make and quite fun too.

The stamp I used is from Meljens
http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.com/.

And it so happens that there is a challenge at Meljens this week with the Theme "Anything Goes".
So I'm entering this card in that challenge.

http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.com/2012/03/challenge-103-anything-goes.html

I colored the stamp using Photoshop. The sentiment on the front I made myself, using a cupcake from the digital stamp on the card inside. Paper is from Eline Pellinkhof.
The text is in Dutch saying happy birthday, have a great day en love from us.
When you pull the ribbon the slider comes out.

I wish you all a happy weekend.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments.

Birthday card

Hello,

I was browsing on the internet and stumbled upon a beautiful color combination at http://www.lisascreativedesigns.com/.

This was my inspiration for my next card.
The sketch is from Pretty Patterns http://mytimemadeeasy.com/blog/?p=3205

and this is the card I made inspired by that beautiful color combination.

The dotted paper is from Jillibean Soup. The flowerpaper is a digital I bought from the Etsy Shop Sunshine lemons http://www.etsy.com/shop/SunshineLemons?ref=ss_profile
The fabric flower I made myself using a ribbon (first try! not bad, hey?).
The text on the card I printed myself.

I'm entering this card at the challenge pretty patterns sketch 52 at my time made easy:

Have a good week! and thanks for reading my blog!

scalloped cards

Hi,

Last weekend I went to the hobby fair in Arnhem with my daughter and my boyfriend's mother.
We had a great time looking at all the nice craft goodies and also bought a lot of stuff.

My boyfriend's mother has a cuttlebug and she made me many nice die cuts.

I made two cards this week using some of the die cuts.
The first card is a scalloped circle card (you can find a tutorial on how to make such a card on youtube)

The scalloped card is made by Janny Stienstra ;-). The paper, zipper and button are from jillibean soup. The little metal boy I also bought on the hobby fair (isn't he cute?) and is from Artemio. The "hello" wordart I made and printed myself.

Entering this card in the one stop craft challenge: button it: http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.com/2012/03/challenge-172-button-it.html

The other card was a new project for me.
I had never made a telescope circle card before. I came across it surfing the net. At ScrappingStamper there are a few samples and there is a link to a tutorial on you tube http://stampinwithflick.blogspot.com/2011/12/stamp-club-update.html.

This is my telescope circle card:

The die cuts are from Janny Stienstra. The paper is from Echo park.
The birdie digi stamp I found on the internet (sorry, can't recall from where). I colored it using photoshop.
I also used a part of the stamp in the first round and printed it on the green cardstock.

Hope you like the cards and will try to make for example a telescope card, it is real fun to do!

Have a good weekend and thanks for stopping by.
