Bird day

Hi,

Another blog post this wednesday to share with you a card I made using this weeks sketch at Cas(e) this sketch.

Here is my entry:

The bird is a digital stamp from tiddly inks, for the birds.
I colored it in Photoshop and also added the text in the piece of paper that the bird is holding up.
The twine is from whimsy farm twine.

Thanks for the visit. Have a great day.

Hugs
Henriëtte.

Oh Happy day

Hi,

The blog title is in complete contrast with yesterday.
Yesterday was a sad day because we had to euthanize our cat Tara.
I had her for a long time, almost 20 years. A few years ago she got cancer in the nose and was treated, but it progressed during these last months and could not be treated again. So we had to make that sad decision, but we know that is was best for her.

This is her, she was quite a lady.

The title does refer to a card I made using lawn fawn paper "hello sunshine".

I used this weeks Tuesday morning sketch.

The cute girl is a stamp from mama elephant.
I stamped it on paper, then scanned it in my computer to color it in photoshop. I also used the matching creative cut.
Added some blue twine and sequins.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Tag you're it!

Hello and happy Sunday,

Tag you're it  has it's first challenge and you have to use Viginia Lu's tags as an inspiration.

I've made a tag using the word "thanks" in three different shades of pink.
I die cut the word out of paint samples. Printed the words to much on the yellow card stock.
Then I put a few sequins on the tag and twine with two pom poms attached.

Have a nice day.

Hang in there

Hi,

Today I made a card using a free digi stamp from paper smooches, a squirrel.
I colored the digital stamp using Photoshop.

The paper is from prima marketing called "so cute".
The sentiment is from desert diva.
I added two wobbly eyes and green burlap twine.

Paper smooches is looking for the august guest designer, so I'm submitting this card to show my talent.

Cute just got Cuter

Hello,

This weeks CAS challenge at Outlawz challenges is "to the dawgz".
The doggie stamp I used on my CAS card is a freebie digital stamp from All dressed up.
Using Photoshop I changed the outline color to grey (I left the nose and eyes black) and added just a touch of pink on the scarf and the tiny heart.
I attached two little pink pom poms to a piece of twine.

It sure is a very cute stamp and also not a difficult card to make.

Mama Elephant

Hi and happy Sunday,

Last week I bought the sweetest stamp set (and matching creative cuts) called "in my heart from Mama Elephant. I ordered them in the UK because I could not find a wholesaler here in The Netherlands.

Mama Elephant also has a new challenge blog mama elephant and me.
The first challenge is this inspirational image.

I used the colors for the inspiration on my card.

I stamp the cute girl on paper, then I scanned it and transferred it to my computer and colored the image in photoshop.
The background isn't quite the right color, unfortunately.
I cut out the circles using my cuttlebug.
I'm sorry but I can't remember the manufacturer of the patterned paper. I have them for many years.
Then I stamped the sentiment.

I still feel that I do not have my mojo back and it is difficult to come up with a great card design.
Hopefully it will be better soon.

I would like to enter this card in these challenges:

Thanks so much for visiting.
