Wire Hearts

Hello,

I told you in earlier blog posts that I loved a new kind of craft; wire bending. I already made a few projects. Today I made some hearts using my deluxe Thing-a-ma-Jig Aluminum Wire Bending Jig and pink wire.

The black paper is from a local store, I added just a stripe of pink glitter paper above it.
The sentiment is a stamp from mama elephant: in my heart.
The sketch I used is this weeks sketch at case this sketch .

I would like to enter this card in these challenges with a CAS or Love theme:

Fruity shaker card

Hello friends,

The other day I bought a bag of little styrofoam balls.

I didn't know what to do with them then but I used them in a shaker card.

I cut three different size holes in yellow card stock using my cuttlebug, glued on acetate paper.
I used foam instead of foam tape to seal the shaker (tip from jess crafts blog ).
I cut out different sized circles using different colors cardstock.
The cute fruits are puff stickers from a local shop, as are the alpha's stickers.
It's a very bright and colourful shaker card.

Dutch themed card

Hi and welcome,

I've made a Dutch themed card today with Dutch Icons on it like canal houses, windmills, farmers, Delft Blue and wooden shoes.
My grandfather was a wooden shoe maker, way back in the old days (I think even before WWII).
Here is a picture from a painting were my grandfather is practicing his occupation. It's an old trade, not many people make wooden shoes anymore because there is no market for them.
My grandpa was a good and friendly man. I have fond memories of him.

Back to my card.
The bp is from this Gecko galz Etsy shop.
The clear stamps are from Kars. I colored them using distress markers and felt tip pens from Stabilo.
Printed the sentiment myself. Added some twine.

(How cute are those little Delft Blue pots in the foreground? They are doll house miniatures).

For the layout I used the sketch from sunday sketch and stamp.

On the farm

Hi and happy Sunday,

Yesterday I made a farm scene card using whimsie doodles farm background border.
I love these American farms with the red color and the fields around it. So different from farms here in The Netherlands.

I did the coloring of the digital stamp in Photoshop.
The animals are puffy stickers from a Dutch Store (Hema).
The fence is a free download I found on the internet.

knife fork spoon

Hi,

When I have some spare time I like to do some wire form bending.

I made these a couple of weeks ago.
They are Picasso line drawings. You can find several examples on pinterest.

It is much fun to do.
The other day I wanted to make table ware out of wire. I found the perfect templates on almost makes perfect.
I printed the templates and started bending. It was not an easy job but I'm pleased with the results.

I made a thank you for dinner card with the utensils.
The sketch is from freshly made sketches.

You can't see it well on the picture, but the circles are cut out of sparkling metallic paper.

Thanks for visiting, have a great weekend.

Fashion girl

Hello,

We were redecorating our house these last few weeks. Turned the attic into two seperate rooms. A little photostudio and our bedroom.
Our old bedroom is now a craftroom/computerroom. We're very pleased with the results.

I didn't have much time to make cards but I made one yesterday using Tracy's Monday-Mood-Board #6 as an inspiration and the sketch from YNS Sketch Challenge #5.

I choose the lady in the blue dress for my inspiration. I had just the right digital stamp for that.
A freebie from Kirsty Wiseman.

I colored the digital image using Photoshop.
I Kept the card in black and white and one color blue. The paper is from a previous Simon Says Stamp card kit.
