Macaroons

Hi,

My second post today is all about macaroons.
I don't know why but I just love macaroon pictures although I don't eat them often.
I think I just love the sweet colours they have.

So I wanted to make a birthday card with macaroons on it. I found a freebie on jane's doodles blog

I colored the image digitally in Photoshop en placed a sentiment beneath them.

Birthday Card - girl with balloons

Hello,

This weeks challenge at casology is mini.

I made this card using a free embroidery pattern instead of a digital stamp. She was just too cute.

You can find the free embroidery pattern at down grapevine lane.

Cute, isn't she?

I colored the pattern digital in photoshop. The dress is red with white polkadot.

The sentiment is part of Pea snowflake doodles font.

I think I should have placed the image a bit more to the left corner, but hey ...

Easter Eggs card

Another Easter card today. I used the YNS sketch for my inspiration.

For the eggs I used a template, imported the template in Photoshop en filled the eggs in different colors and polka dots patterns.
Then I printed the egg in different sizes and cut them out by hand.

I made the sentiment in Word, I love the font it's called Little Bird.

Easter card

Hi and happy Saturday,

My first Easter card this year I made using this weeks sketch at cas(e) this sketch.

The bunny is a free embroidery pattern from sarah jane studios.

I deleted the scarf digitally and colored the bunny in Photoshop. I used a polkadot pattern to fill the eggs.

I made the sentiment in Word. The scalloped circle is from Jillibean soup.

Two Tags

Hello, how are you?

Today I would like to share with you two tags I made inspired by this tag from Donna Mikasa for the tag you're it challenge.

For my first tag I used a free digital stamp from Avery Elle.
I copied the lanterns to add a few more and I colored them in Photoshop.
For this tag I used the patterns and colors as my inspiration.

.... and because it is almost Chinese New Year (febr. 19), I made a Happy New Year's tag.

The paper on the bottom is from Basic Grey.

The other tag is also made using a free digital stamp, this time from the alley way stamps.

The fish on Donna's tag were my inspiration this time.

I did the coloring in Photoshop. The sentiment is also from the Alley Ways stamps.

Vellum and tissue paper

Hello, I hope you're all having a great week so far.

I found this gorgeous free printable wrapping paper on martha stewart.com. I printed the pattern on vellum.
Behind the vellum is cardstock. Then I placed it on a pink card.

I found a tutorial on how to make a tissue paper freesia.
It took me a few times to get a nice flower, because of the paper being so thin.

The sentiment is printed directly on a piece of vellum paper.










I love the soft colours on this card.

Tiger lily card

Hello

It's is time for another Monday-Mood-Board card.
This is the inspiration board

I choose the Tiger lily as my inspiration, because my mother use to have those flowers often on a vase during my childhood and
she always warned me not to get stains from the pollen on my clothes.
I search on the web for a free coloring page of a tiger lily.

                                 

The left image is the original coloring page, the right one is how it turned out after I colored it in Photoshop.

The sentiment is a clear stamp from a previous Simon Says Stamp card kit.

The card is in my favorite style Clean and Simple.

Another Valentines Tag

Hello, happy Saturday!

I made another Valentines Tag to enter the tag you're it challenge.

Inspired by this fab tag from Debby Hughes from Lime doodles designs. I always look at her creations with much admiration.

For my tag I used stamps and paper from the simon says stamp Januay 2014 card kit.

I used distress markers to make the heart balloons.

The twine is from whimsy farm twine.

Sea Critters Shaker Card

Hello everyone,









Today is my part-time day so I had some time to finish a shaker card
I was working on with a sea critters theme.

I love the cute stingrays digital stamp from 2CuteInk. I colored the digi in Photoshop.

Made the shaker part using my cuttlebug, foam, acetate and little beads. I wanted it to look like a porthole.

The sentiment is made in Word and printed on the orange cardstock.
