Mother's day card

Hi,

I love Liz Armstrong's cardmaking style. Her digital design boutique has great stamp images, sentiments and papers.
I purchased "floralie", a set of lovely patterned paper designs.
Liz style inspired me to make my next card. A mother's day card with a spring feel.

I printed one of the designs on vellum and placed the vellum on white cardstock.
The Mother's day tag is a free download from I heart naptime .
The butterfly is a die cut I had for many years.

Easter card: Paper pieced background

Hi,

This weeks challenges at Outlawz Saturday is: Paper pieced Background.
I don't recall making such a card before so I search the internet for some examples.
Pink paislee  had a great design and tutorial.

Here is my card.

The paper (and sentiment) are from Echo park "Sunny days Ahead".
I adore this paper pad with the cute chicklets and carrot paper.
I don't know were I got the little birdie from, sorry about that (it was a free download).

Shaker card for a baby boy

Hello..... welcome to my blog today,

I made a shaker card to enter a Dutch challenge called hobby journaal. The theme is BABY.

example card hobby journaal

I used a digital stamp from Eline Pellinkhof. I just printed it on kraft paper.
The alpha's are die cuts from Marianne Designs and I made the little tag myself using an eyelet.
Added a charm. The background paper is from Echo park "Sunny days ahead".
The little balls in the shaking part are styrofoam balls. They look very cute but they are also very static.

Blue, white and kraft is one of my favorite color combinations.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day.

Flower tag

Hello,

A short blog post today to share with you a tag I made using tag you're it challenge # 16 for my inspiration.

and here is my tag .....

The flower I cut out of a Dutch card making magazine called "hobbykaart".
The "wishing you" sentiment is stamped. The "love" sentiment is heat embossed using red embossing powder. I added a few pearls.

Spring (well almost)

Hi everyone,

Spring is just around the corner! You can smell it in the air here in the Netherlands.
We have a nice sunny weekend with temperatures around 15 degrees C.

My next card has a spring theme with a tulip as the focal point.

First I made a tulip out of silver wire. The idea is not mine. I have the shape from this Etsy shop.
Then I painted the background with my waterpencil using Ranger distress markers and fastened the wire tulip on it.
I printed the "happy spring" sentiment on the cardstock.

For the sketch I used this weeks sketch at cas(e) this sketch.

I would like to enter my card in these challenges:

case this sketch: sketch 113
who is tracy: monday moodboard 8, inspired by the tulips.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
