Hang in there

Hi,

The digital image I used on this card, I used before here. Even the paper is similar, but I think it's a different, better card.
I made this card to enter this weeks paper smooches challenge.

This is the sketch:

and here is my take on the sketch:

The wooden paper is from Jillibean Soup.
The leaves are from the paperpad So cute by Prima Marketing.
The digital image is a freebie from Paper Smooches, I did the coloring using Photoshop,
I printed the sentiment on the wood paper.

Next to the paper smooches challenge, I also would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

outlawz challenges: twisted-thursday: anything goes
simon says stamp: wednesday challenge: anything goes
fan-tastic tuesday: use twine or string

Thanks for the visit! Enjoy your day.

Hugs, Henriëtte.

You're sew special

Hi, Happy Saturday!

I combined two challenges for my next card.
First the colours are inspired by these sweet cookies from give a crafter a cookie.

The sketch is from inspired by stamping.

On my card I used a digital stamp from pink petticoat. I did the coloring in Photoshop.
The sentiment is also from Pink Petticoat.
The paper is from Docrafts Papermania Vintage notes.

Bride and groom cards

Hi,

Today's cards were inspired by these amazing cupcakes from Buns in the oven Cupcakery.

I came up with the idea of making two round cards.

I cut out the base cards with my cuttlebug.
The grooms card I made using different colours of grey cardstock and just cut them in the right shapes.
Added little silver rhinestones.
For the brides gown I used lace, pearls, a rhinestone and a lace flower.

I'm entering these cards in the following challenges:

brown sugar challenge: anything goes
crafts 4 eternity: anything goes
creative corner challenges: wedding bells
polka doodle: anything but square
little miss muffet challenges: round in circles
simon says stamp: Clean and Simple

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Hugs Henriette

You're a star

Hi and welcome,

A while back I bought this punch at a Dutch store (Hema) and I didn't use it until today.

The twisted Thurday challenge at OUTLAWZ is use a punch.
I searched on internet for inpiration on how to use this punch and I found this card from Becca Prideaux.
I love the color combination and CAS style.

My card is a bit different.

I punched out the stars using sand colored paper. The sentiment I've made in Word and printed on kraft paper.
I also added a piece of twine and a wooden star (I think the white star is to large but I did not have a smaller one).
Finally I added a few punched out little stars.

Entering this card in these challenges:

outlawz challenges: twisted-thursday-challenge: use a punch
dream valley challenges: use kraft
sketch saturday: 356

Thanks for the visit! Have a nice day.

Home is where the hugs are

Hi,

For my next CAS card I used my cuttlebug to cut out different sizes of circles from different colours of cardstock,
Then I added pieces of foam for layering.

The sentiment is from Suddenly Artistic designs.
The house and tree are part of a die cut from Memory Box.

I'm entering this CAS card in these challenges:

Thanks so much for visiting.

Hugs Henriëtte,

Happy Spring Birthday

Hello,

Simon says stamp  is celebrating their 6th birthday and the Wednesday Challenge theme is "Happy Birthday".
I made this watercolor CAS card.

First I watercolored the stripe on watercolor paper using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.
Then I cut two stripes and printed the sentiment over the top piece. Added a few flower sequins.

Thanks for reading my blog.
Have a great weekend and a wonderful Easter!

Thank you watercolor card

Hello,

I don't have much mojo these last few weeks. That happens once or twice every year and I know it will past, but it's very irritating.
So today I sat down at my crafting table in my little crafting room and just started to watercolor.
I placed a sticker on watercolor paper and used distress markers to colour the inside and around the sticker.
Once the paint dried I removed the sticker and added a "thank you" rubb-on.

Thank you for stopping over. Have a nice day.
