The pinspirational challenge:

I made a birthday card for a little boy.

Stamp and sentiment are from Bugaboo.
I did the coloring in Photoshop,
The demin paper is a free printable.

I never forget ... What?

Hello,

On my next card I used an icon. The elephant is a free icon from icon archive.com.
I thought he looked funny. I have a thing with icons, the simple lines often are very effective images.

The black patterned paper looks like the skin of an elephant.
I made the sentiment in word using the font called "this font looks like elephant".
For the cardstock I used different shades of gray.

I'm entering this card in these challenges:

outlawz challenges: Saturday shades-of-gray
my time to craft challenge: zoo animals
fab n funky challenge: flora or fauna

Thanks for visiting my blog. Take care.

Tying the knot

Hi,

It's Pentecost here in the Netherlands and that means a long weekend with an extra day off on Monday.
Today, Sunday, is bright and sunny, perfect weather for a bbq.

I also made a CAS card for the CAS ology challenge: wedding.

The stamp is from a previous Simon says Stamp card kit.
I heat embossed the stamp with white embossing powder.
The sentiment is stamped with white ink.
I used an golden piece of wire to make the knot.

I'm entering this card in these challenges:

casology: wedding
simply less is more: use metal
just-add-ink: weddings
simply create too: keep it simple

Have a nice weekend, thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Candy Shop

Hi,

I'm very happy with my new stamp sets from papertreyink; petite places sweet shop mini stamp set and
sweet shop sentiments mini stamp set.
I used some of the stamps on my next card,  a round card.

First I used my cuttlebug to cut out the circles. I stamped the candy shop in lavender colour
and the other elements in different shades of pink. The bicycle (isn't that cute) in grey.
The sentiment I stamped on lavender cardstock using black ink.
I cut out the sentiment and the marquis by hand, because unfortunately I don't have the matching dies.

Entering this card in these challenges:

Capture the moment: fussy cut (I cut out the sentiment and marquis by hand)
all sorts challenge: no squares allowed
crafters cafe: feminine

Thanks for the visit and your comments are much appreciated!!

Hugs, Henriette.

Cow are you?

Howdy folks!

For my next card I used this weeks sketch at retro sketch challenge.

The digital stamp is from the cute farm set from the digi stamp boutique. I colored the stamp in Photoshop.
The cow spots is a free printable, I only colored the spots from black to brown also in Photoshop.
I added a brown suede cord with a knot suggesting a cowboy scarf .

I'm entering this CAS card in these challenges:

dragonfly journeys: cowgirl  (it's a girl and it's a cow ;))

Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful day.

Welcome to the world - a baby girl CAS card

Hello and  ..... Happy Mother's Day to all you Mommas!

My, not so little girl anymore (she's 14), gave me a selfmade heart shaped card with sweet words on it, some
yummy bonbons and a nice wooden calendar to put on my desk.
We made cakepops together. Baking is a great time to spend with my daughter.

I also made a baby card in my favorite style CAS.

First I made 5 circle shapes in Photoshop. I coloured the circles in gradient pink.
I downloaded free icons from this site and placed them in the circles.
With my cuttlebug I punched out the shapes.
The sentiment is word art from weeds and wild flowers design.

I would like to enter this CAS card in the following challenges:

casology: shape
crafty catz: CAS
creative corner challenges: pink galore
simon says stamp: lets get sentimental
outlawz challenges: saturday-paper-a-la-mode: anything goes

Thanks so much for visiting. I hope you have a great Mother's day.

Hugs Henriëtte.

Cute farm animals

Hi,

My second post today is to share with you a card I made using "the cute farm set" digital stamps from digi stamp boutique. SO CUTE!!

I imported all the images I wanted to use seperate in Photoshop.

Then I lined them up and started to color them in Photoshop. I didn't use any shadowing.
For the sky background I used a cloud brush.

I think the digis are so darn cute, I'll be making more cards with these images.

Thanks for the visit. Have a nice day.

Hugs Henriëtte.

Perfect pear

Hi and happy Sunday,

Yesterday it was National Scrapbook day in the states and there were a lot of cute free downloads offered.
I get most of the free downloads from quality digi scrap freebies.
One of those freebies was from mommyish graphic designs.

I made a card using the patterned paper and the cute pears from that free download.
Using my cuttlebug I made the circle in bp. Then added twine and made the sentiment in Word.

I'm entering this card in these challenges:

aaa cards: there's hole in my card
dianamlarson may-linky-challenge: anything goes

Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy the weekend!
