Unicorn

I found this cute chubby unicorn freebie at useless trinkets and used it on a birthday card.
She (or he) reminded me of the unicorn in despicable me.
The background I made using memento dew drops inkt pads and lots of water.
The cute unicorn I colored in Photoshop. The balloon are stamps from a previous Simon says stamp card kit.
The sentiment is also from useless trinkets.
It turned out a sweet birthday card in candy colors.

Candy corn

This is the inspiration tag from Kara Lynne at the tag you're it challenge.
I was inspired by the candy corn and colors. I never seen candy corn here in the Netherlands,
so I have no idea how they taste, but I have a cute digital stamp with candy corn on it.

I colored the digital stamp in Photoshop. The sentiment is part of a digital kit called it's scary from design by dani.

Poinsettia

Today I finished another Christmas card. I used a new die I bought at a craft booth on our local market.
It's a poinsettia die from poppy stamps.

I die cut the flower three times, using white glitter paper, vellum and beige cardstock.
The golden bit behind the sentiment and flower is gold angelwire paper.

I made the background in Photoshop, it's kind of a frosting idea in light brown colors.
The snowflakes are punched out of glitter paper. The sentiment is a stamp from a previous Simon says stamp card kit.

Kokeshi doll

I needed a new, fresh look for my blog and with the help of my boyfriend, a new template and lots of patience
it's now up and running. There are  still a few things to do but that will come in time.
I have removed all my wins, tops 3 and honorable mentions because I wanted a clean look. I hope you like it.

Today I would like to share a card I made using a digital stamp from a Japense Kokeshi doll. It's one of three dolls, you can find the free download on Pinterest just search kokeshi doll digital stamp.

The bp is from Cart-us "romantic flowers", I also used it to paper pieced the dress.
I added punch out butterflies and a flat back flower raisin.

Halloween CAS card

Hi and welcome,

Although Halloween is not a big thing here in The Netherlands and I'm not so fond of Halloween themed challenges,
I did made a CAS Halloween card.
I used the same card layout as I did on a baby card that I made last May.

Here is how I made this card.
First I made 5 circles in Photoshop using a Halloween color scheme.
Then I searched on Flaticon.com for Halloween icons and placed them inside the circles.
I printed them and used circle die cuts because I wanted to foam mount the middle circle.
I also made the sentiment in Photoshop using the font "an unfortunate event" and added a little spider icon in the "o".
I printed the sentiment directly on the purple cardstock.
Also did I add orange glitter paper behind the white panel.

I really like the way Debby Hughes displayes her cards on her blog.
She explains more about how she takes photos of her cards here.
I'm trying to be as good of a photographer as her, but not even close :)

Christmas Wishes

Hello friends,

Another week has past, time does fly. Can you believe it's only 75 days until Christmas!
I've made another Christmas card for the tag you're it challenge.

This was the inspiration card from Kelly Szafron.

My inspiration was the gold and red colors and the polkadots.
The stamp on my card is mini tree stamp from pink petticoat.

Fall ATC

Hello,

I've made my first ATC card ever. Never paid much attention to ATC cards until this weeks Twisted Thursday challenge at Outlawz.
I did some research and watched a few you tube tutorials and started to make an ATC. The fifth version was to my content.

First I sponged the card using crushed olive and tea dye distress inks from Tim Holtz.
The tree and leave stamp are from simon says stamp (previous card kit). The cute fox is a stamp from Stampin'Up!

Flower wreath

Hello and  happy Sunday,
My laptop broke down yesterday. Not to be repaired. Afbeeldingsresultaat voor sad face

We bought a new desktop and all the stuff on my hard drive could be transferred to my new computer.
Thank goodness for that! I have a lot of digital stamps, downloads, digital papers, you name it.
Then all the programs like picassa and photoshop had to be installed.
So much work, but I have a great boyfriend who works in IT and he did it all for me.

During this I made a a flower wreath birthday card, what better thing to do on World Card making day!

I used stamps from a previous Simon Says Stamp card kit.
