You are so kind

Hello and welcome,

I think yellow and grey is a beautiful color combination.

The background paper is a free digital download from a little grace and mercy.
The "so kind" is an old die cut from provo craft and the butterfly is a punch out from stampin'up.
The "you are" stamp is from a previous Simon Says Stamp card kit.

Coffee, freshly brewed

Hi,

Today it's national coffee day in the States and almost international coffee day (october first).
This weeks muse card also has a coffee theme.

I was inspired by the coffee. Here is my card.

The paper is a (former) free digital scrapkit from Miss Mint called coffee break.
I created the piece of paper with the coffee stains using photoshop and a brush.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Happy Fall

Hello,

The new challenge on fab friday stampin challenge is a color challenge using these 3 colors.

The perfect challenge for my new Stampin' up! designer paper "into the woods".

I was looking for a different kind of card design and found a great round card through Pinterest from eileens crafty zone.
It took a bit of die cutting and cutting the circles in the right shape with my craft knife.

The bear stamp and wooden leave are also from Stampin' up!

I hope you have a great day and thanks for visiting.

Flowers

Hi and Happy Sunday,

An aunt of mine is lying in a kind of nursing home, recovering from hip surgery and I wanted to sent her a get well card.
I ended up making two cards using digital paper from pink petticoat.

On the first card I stamped a flower (from stampin'up!) on vellum with versamark, then heat embossed is with white embossing powder.
I put some yellow ink on the back of the vellum. The die cut word says "get well soon" in Dutch.
On the second card I used a dandelion die cut, I put gold embossing powder on the leaves.

For both cards I used  your next stamp sketch # 23.

Golden butterfly

Hi,

This weeks challenge at the muse card club is this muse card:

I was mainly inspired by the flowers on black background and I had just the right paper in my stock from
a the april 2014 Simon says stamp card kit. I also used a butterfly and gold on my card.

I made the butterfly using gold wire and my wig jig.
The sentiment I made using golden embossing powder.

Just for you

Hello,

It has been years since I've used the decoupage technique. Nowadays I use stamps on my cards or digital images.
Today I've made a card using a 3d decoupage flower. I found the decoupage sheet cleaning out a drawer.

I have made the background in photoshop. It's a digital brush and I added taupe colored splatters.
Then I used washi tape, a heart shaped doily, the decoupaged flower and a few gems.
I've made the sentiment by heat embossing white embossing powder.

Entering this card in these two challenges:

outlawz: monday challenge: use pink
aud sentiments challenge: anything goes plus sentiment

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs Henriëtte.

Decorated paper bags

Hi,

We decorated a cute little paper bag at one of the recent workshops at stampin'up! demonstrator Creations by Jolan.

(Sorry, the photo's were taken with my mobile phone, Quality is not so good)

Today I decided to decorate some more paper bags.
First is a paper bag that was a free gift at a Dutch magazine called Flow.
The wreath and the sentiment was already on it, I just coloured the leaves and flowers and made the little tag using some old stamps.

The second is a little bag decorated to hold a Christmas present.

Materials mostly from Stampin' Up!.

I'm entering these projects in the following challenges:

Have a nice day and thank you for stopping by.
