They already have a template available for you to print and cut out.
I've made 3 cake slices (if you want to make a whole cake then you have to make 12 pieces).
I printed the template on copy paper and taped it to my patterned paper. I used lemoncraft house of roses for my cake slices.
I decorated the back and the top of the cake pieces with ribbons, laces, crochets, furry balls, flowers, pearl beads and leaves.
My color scheme was beige, white, and grey blue (ish).
To finish the cake pieces I tied ribbons around it.
It was a fun project to make. It would look great to do a whole cake but I didn't have enough of the same materials.
