Kanzashi flower card

Hi,

My holiday has finally started!! Four weeks off from work.

We are not going abroad this year but staying here in the Netherlands, so I do hope the weather improves.

The other day I ordered a Moda Scrap Bag. This bag contains fabric left overs from Moda's Production.

With one of those strips I made my first kanzashi flower. There are many tutorials found on the internet.
I used this one:
http://bittybitsandpieces.blogspot.nl/2010/01/kanzashi-flower-tutorial.html.

I know its not a perfect flower yet, but I will make some more and try to improve.

With this kanzashi flower I made this next card.
Someone said "It is a fresh and summary card in this awfull weather" ...  and that is true.

The paper and butterfly are from Jillibean Soup. The die-cut is from my boyfriends mother. The sentiment I printed myself.

I'm entering this card in the next challenges:

I hope the card gives you a sunny feeling. Thanks for stopping by.
