Another watercoloring card

Hi again

Another post from me today to share with you my second watercoloring card using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

The boy stamp is from Mama elephant (in my heart).
The balloon stamp is from Simon Says stamp.
Sentiment from Verve stamps.

My previous watercoloring card turned out better I think, but that one isn't a birthday card
and this month's theme at Mama Elephant's blog is "watercoloring and birthdays".

So I'm entering the birthday card in this challenge:

Have a nice day and I appreciate your comments!

Hugs

Thinking of you

Hi and happy Sunday,

This is the final day of my vacation, tomorrow it's back to work.
Besides my full time job, I'm also gonna take a six month course "starting a webshop".
Looking forward to that.
So busy months ahead and I'm not sure if I have much time to craft.

This weekend I tried watercoloring again and I used Ranger distress markers for the first time.
It has been awhile since my last watercoloring, I usualy color my stamps digital in Photoshop.
It was fun to do and here is the result, not perfect I admit but hey first time ...

Supplies used:
Girl and sentiment stamp: mama elephant in my heart
Tree stamp: simon says stamp
Ranger Distress markers
Aquarel paper 180 gr.

Oh Happy day

Hi,

The blog title is in complete contrast with yesterday.
Yesterday was a sad day because we had to euthanize our cat Tara.
I had her for a long time, almost 20 years. A few years ago she got cancer in the nose and was treated, but it progressed during these last months and could not be treated again. So we had to make that sad decision, but we know that is was best for her.

This is her, she was quite a lady.

The title does refer to a card I made using lawn fawn paper "hello sunshine".

I used this weeks Tuesday morning sketch.

The cute girl is a stamp from mama elephant.
I stamped it on paper, then scanned it in my computer to color it in photoshop. I also used the matching creative cut.
Added some blue twine and sequins.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Mama Elephant

Hi and happy Sunday,

Last week I bought the sweetest stamp set (and matching creative cuts) called "in my heart from Mama Elephant. I ordered them in the UK because I could not find a wholesaler here in The Netherlands.

Mama Elephant also has a new challenge blog mama elephant and me.
The first challenge is this inspirational image.

I used the colors for the inspiration on my card.

I stamp the cute girl on paper, then I scanned it and transferred it to my computer and colored the image in photoshop.
The background isn't quite the right color, unfortunately.
I cut out the circles using my cuttlebug.
I'm sorry but I can't remember the manufacturer of the patterned paper. I have them for many years.
Then I stamped the sentiment.

I still feel that I do not have my mojo back and it is difficult to come up with a great card design.
Hopefully it will be better soon.

I would like to enter this card in these challenges:

Thanks so much for visiting.

Hugs
Henriëtte.
