Scrap card made from Elena Volchkova card kit

Hi, every month I have a small craft budget to spend and last month I bought some beautiful items from one of my favorite shops http://allmacraft.com/.
I have a craft haul video on my you tube page in case you'll like to see what I purchased.
Here is a link to that video:

One of the things I bought is a card making kit from Elena Volchkova. Allmacraft sells many of her card making kits and the kits have all the elements you'll need to make one beautiful scrap card.
Here is the card I've made.

I love all the fabric elements and the cute little squirrel.

The card has a filling on both sides (all included in the kit) and therefore it's very soft.

I also decorated the backside of the card.

I like this card so much that I will purchase some more of these in the future.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs, Henriette.

Antique clock

Hi, something different today.
I recently (re)discovered a site called Sandra's Scrapsels. She sells the most amazing card templates and has re-opend her store this month. I ordered an antique clock template for a masculine card/scrap project.

First I printed the individual pieces and cut them out using cardstock and patterned paper from Kaisercraft. I covered all the sides with patterned paper, both the front and back pieces.

I distressed all the edges with tea dye ranger distress ink.
Then I decorated the front with a chipboard frame colored with gold ink. On that frame I glued a piece of patterned paper and a clock. I embellished the front with flowers, leaves and cogs.

The back of the antique clock is decorated with a sentiment and a steampunk corner chipboard from Wycinanka.

There is a piece of paper between the front and back side so the clock can stand on it's own.
I don't make much masculine projects but this one was fun to make and I'm pleased with the result.
I'm entering this card/scrap project in the following challenges:

Scrapbook page Ireland

Hi, I've made my first scrapbook layout for the May challenge over at the more than words challenge  The theme is Memories & Frames.
I used a photo from a family vacation a few years back to the beautiful country of Ireland.
We did a tour in the South of Ireland and I fell in love with the landscape. One day we visited a sheep herding demonstration and the scenery was just perfect. The picture was taken that day.

The paper I used is from Mintay. With a stencil and structure paste I've added leaves.
I used all kinds of flowers from Lemoncraft and Little Birdie, two resin frames which I painted with green paint, distress ink and gold paint. On the photo I placed a chipboard frame in the shape of a camera.

I also used a green doily, skeleton leaves, curled twigds and  painted cheesecloth. I've tried to use the colors of the Irisch flag: orange, green and white.

I'm entering this page in more than words challenge

Thanks so much for stopping by.
