Home is where the heart lies

Hi,

Unlike my two cards from my earlier blogpost my next card turned out better than I had in mind.
I do still struggle to make a clean and simple card though. For this card I was inspired by the inspiration sheet in the Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit.

The home with heart metal paper clip is from the Simon says stamp november card kit.
The word art is from Word art world.

Home sweet home

Hello,

I wish you and your loved ones a healthy, happy and joyfull new year!
And for my crafty friends lots of inspiration, ideas and beautiful projects.

Our new year started very sad. A beloved uncle has passed away and my brother is in hospital due to (problably) a stroke.
They have to do more tests before we know more.

I want to share a card with you I made a few days ago called "home sweet home".

The die is from Memory Box called modern landscape:
 http://memoryboxco.com/dies.asp?i=101&s=101. Loved it right away!

The card is kept very simple. I used paint color swatches for the background and the die cut.
The sentiment is a freebie word art.
