Little princess

Today I'm sharing a castle shaped card for a little princess.

I've used the castle template years ago. When I saw the digital stamp from craftin desert divas I remembered the castle template and found the perfect setting for the digi.

The template is a free download from a path of paper.

The bricks are a digital download from this Etsy shop. I've colored the digital stamp with spectrum noir markers.

I've added decoration stickers around the edges and a little kitty puffed sticker on one of the towers.
It's great fun how the card folds open in different levels just like a medieval castle.

I'm entering this card in the Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge.

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day.

Hugs, Henriette.

Trick or Sweet

Hi,

I wanted to make a card for the current Yumi and Fumi challenge ORANGE, GREENPURPLE and BLACK!
I tried to make another kind of card instead of a halloween card, but it didn't work out. So another halloween card it is.

I made a round card using my Cuttlebug. The papers are from the october card kit from Simon says Stamp, the pixie stick is from the november kit
The digital image is a meoples from CC designs. Colored in Photoshop.
I made the sentiment in Word.

Sunshine

Hi,

Today I  made a word shaped card using a template from The cutting cafe.

The single letters I cut using this colorscheme as inspiration.
It is this weeks color inspiration challenge at Love to create.

The Manga girl is a digital stamp from Scrappers delights. Colored the digital in Photoshop.
Just added a few paper and felt flowers.

There are a lot summer themed challenges this month so I would like to enter this shaped card in a few of these challenges:

I wish you all a sunny day and thanks for visiting!

I collect memories

Hi,

On this very hot day here in the Netherlands I would like to share with you a shaped card I made the other day. It is a suitcase shaped card.

I didn't use a template, just draw the shape on cardstock.
The digital stamp is from CC designs called Swiss Pixie Abigail. I colored her in photoshop.
For the decoration of the suitcase I used free journal cards and other free journaling printables.
(I'm collecting those for my travel notebook that I'm going to make during our vacation in Ireland).

CC Designs Challenge for this month is "summer dreaming". I think traveling to unknown countries and collecting memories is a summer dream.

Star shaped card

Hello,

I made another star shaped card. This time with a 4th of july theme.
The star card template is from The cutting cafe.
The paper and bunting are digital from Shery K Designs and the stamp is from The Greeting Farm.
I colored the stamp in photoshop.

The "happy 4th" sentiment is a free printable cupcake topper.
The little glitter pompoms and little clothespins are from a local shop.

The origami lucky stars in front of the card I also made myself. They are easy to fold.

SuperStar

Hi,

A new month means a new challenge and freebie at Birdie Brown.
This month the freebie is a rockin' doggie (plus sentiment).
I decided to make a star shaped card. The template is from The cutting cafe.
The cardbase is white cardstock.
The star patterned paper is digital called "Clementine" from this Etsy shop.
I colored the digital stamp and sentiment using Photoshop.
The sentiment is filled with a glitter pattern. I put some glitter yarn and a pink glitter star
on the card to make it even more rock-'n-roll!

I also want to show you the inside of the card. It as a sentiment on it from Hilleke (Belgium).
She makes great freebie sentiments like the one I used "every little thing you do is magic".

Have a nice day and thank you for stopping by.

Circle gatefold card for father's day

Hi,

This is the first circle gatefold card I made. Here is a great tutorial on how to make such a card.

It is a father's day card.
Sadly not for my father, he passed away 10 years ago. Still miss him very much.
We will sent the card to my father-in-law who would be pleased with it.

The digital stamp is from The greeting farm. Colored the image using Photoshop.
The paper is from Pebbles - Seen and Noted, except the chevron paper. That was a free download.

Two heart shaped brads in the front to hold the twine.
The spiral sentiment is also a freebie, see this link.
The two buttons in the inside of the card are epoxy buttons from Jillibean Soup.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

With a cherry on top

Hi and welcome,

I have been playing around with photoshop.
Figuring out how to work with layer styles.
And I made this cupcake card using layer styles presets.

The cupcake card template is a freebie from Gina K. Designs.
(There is also a cute ice cream card template).

I layered the cake in chocolate crispy style and the topping in a kind of icing style.
The cup I printed on dotted paper, cut out and glued it on the card base.

The cute digital image is a meople from CC Designs. L.O.V.E. MEOPLES!!
I colored the digital stamp in Photoshop. The little cherry on top is also in a layer style.
I wanted a sentiment on the little (gift)card but I did not want to put it on the card.
When I searched on internet for a solution I came across these printable straw templates.
I altered the color to chocolate brown and rolled the straw.
The little flag is also a freebie from shop sweets and treats.
I added the text "with cherry on top" to that printable freebie.

I think the little card turned out pretty cute and
it was fun creating it.
It can also be used as a tag on a cupcake gift box.

Mother's day circle card

Hi,

Challenge #15 at Yumi and Fumi challenge blog is "a shaped card for mom".
Sadly my mother passed away four years ago, I miss her very much.
But I made a card for my boyfriend's mother who will be very happy with this mother's day card.
She is also into cardmaking and we visit the craft fair in Arnhem together twice a year.

My new yumi and fumi stamp "fumi with turtle" arrived just in time.
I stamped the image on paper and scanned it to my computer, so I could color it using Photoshop.
The card base I cut out using my cuttlebug.
The background paper is digital from my baby giggles Etsy shop.

Some pink twine and a cute heartshaped button for the finishing touch.

The flower in the front of the card I made the other day using my cuttlebug and a a plain tissue.
It turned out pretty nice and I'm hoping to make some other tissue flowers next week.

My shaped card I'm entering in the next challenges:

Thank you for visiting and I appreciate your comments very much.

Perfume bottle shaped card

Hi,

I made a perfume bottle shaped card inspired by this
image of a perfume called "Coleen x".
Sorry, don't know the girl nor the perfume but the
color combo black and purple I think is very pretty.

The template for the bottle I found here.
The digital stamp is from Crafts and me. Colored the digi using Photoshop.
The lace on the bottom is a rub-on.
The sentiment I made myself. There is a little bow in the girls hair.

Easter Egg card

Hi,

Today I made an Easter egg shaped card.
The cute bunny is a digital stamp from Little Musings. Colored it in Photoshop.
The background papers are from the magazine Simply Cards & Papercraft.
I found a matching Easter sentiment on juditcrafts.blogspot.

I love the soft colors on this egg shaped card.
I'm entering this card in the next Easter (related) challenges:
