Thanks

Usually I color my images in photoshop, sometimes with watercolor pencils or distress markers.
I also do some watercoloring. I didn't have any alcohol markers until this past week. I purchased a set of 72
spectrum noir markers (copics are just to expensive for me, sadly).
I followed all kinds of tutorials on you tube and practice on a few digital images. It isn't easy, I must admit.
I'll be learning by doing it.
My first spectrum noir colored image is on this card. It's a digital image from Birdie Brown.

The paper and thanks stamp are from Stampin'up!
I thought it was funny that the bear would lose some of the apples he was carrying.
The sentiment is stamped with Versamark and heat embossed using seafoam white embossing powder.

For the layout I used this weeks sketch at case this sketch

A sunny day

Hi,

Did you already join in the blog hop for the 1ste year anniversary at Yumi and Fumi stamps?
There is still some time left for you to participate and win some special prizes, here is the link.

Today I made a card with a sunny theme.

The cutsie stamp is from Birdie Brown. I did the coloring in Photoshop.
The background paper is from a local store.
Sentiment made myself.

Fintastic

Hi and happy Wednesday,

Birdie Brown has some new freebies and challenge. This month she has free dolphin stamps and matching sentiment, here is a link.

I wanted to make the card somewhat different than the usual blue waves and sea.
After some time I found a Japanese wave pattern on Deviant art to use in Photoshop.
I also came across these pretty colors and my next card was there.

I colored the wave pattern in PS using these colors.

One of the advantages of digital stamps is that you can transform and flip the image.
That is what I did with the dolphin to face them opposite from each other. Colored the dolphins in Photoshop using gradients and placed the sentiment in the middle.

Only added some twine and a felt starfish.

Good friends

Hi,

I think the image on this card is so cute.
Love the scene of the little girl and polar bear celebrating a birthday.
It has a dreamy feel to it.
It is one of the new digital stamps from Birdie Brown.
I had to purchase it the minute I saw it and later made this card.

The sketch is from Seize the birthday challenge 19.

I colored the digital image in Photoshop. The paper are digital from Lilly Bimble Etsy shop.

The sentiment "Good friends make life bearable" I made myself.

I would like to enter this card in the next challenge:

Thank you for stopping by.

SuperStar

Hi,

A new month means a new challenge and freebie at Birdie Brown.
This month the freebie is a rockin' doggie (plus sentiment).
I decided to make a star shaped card. The template is from The cutting cafe.
The cardbase is white cardstock.
The star patterned paper is digital called "Clementine" from this Etsy shop.
I colored the digital stamp and sentiment using Photoshop.
The sentiment is filled with a glitter pattern. I put some glitter yarn and a pink glitter star
on the card to make it even more rock-'n-roll!

I also want to show you the inside of the card. It as a sentiment on it from Hilleke (Belgium).
She makes great freebie sentiments like the one I used "every little thing you do is magic".

I'm entering this star shaped card in the following challenges:

Have a nice day and thank you for stopping by.

Spring is in the air

Hi,

How are you?
I'm a bit under the weather these past days, sores muscles, feeling weak and feverish.
I hope it will be over soon because we have beautiful spring weather outside.
Yesterday we had the warmest 5th of March ever here in the Netherlands at 17,5 degrees Celsius (63,5 F).

I made a card for the first of two challenges over at Birdie Brown. She has her 2nd anniversary! Congratulations!

First theme is "Birthday". I made a card using the Birdie Brown digital stamp "look up". As usual I colored the digi in Photoshop. The background paper is also digital from the Etsy shop Country at heart 2008.
The die with the ribbon was a gift from my boyfriend's mother. She also makes cards.

I would like to enter this card in the Birdie Brown challenge:

Fur-ever friends

    Hi,

Yeahhhhh ... it is friday again and a special friday for me! But first this.

I had some time on my hands this morning to make a card using
a digital stamp I won from last month's Birdie Brown challenge.
It is a cute stamp called furever love.

I used the deconstructed Sketch No. 88 to
                  make this card.

I colored the digital stamp in Photoshop. The background paper is from jillibean-soup.
The sentiment I created myself. The cute dog bone embellishment I had lying around for ages.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

I also want to share with you another card I made especially for my wonderful boyfriend Robert.
We met 5 years ago today and pretty much been together from the first moment we met.
He is loves photography (here is a link to his website).
So for our anniversary I decided to make a camera shaped card with a little poem inside.
He was very pleased with it.

I want to thank you for visiting my little blog and thanks if you leave me a comment.
