I've made this spring card with the Mintay Bloomville papers.

Easter card with foamiran flowers

Hi, today I'm sharing an Easter card full with spring foamiran flowers.

The papers I used on this card are from the paperpad "springtime" from mintay papers.
The Easter egg chipboard is from MiszMasz papierowy  and I bought it at the lemoncraft shop.

I made all the flowers on this card using foamiran sheets and stamens from the 14 craft bar shop.

I colored white foamiran with blue and yellow chalks to get the colors I wanted.

There are also lace and fabric elements on this card, these are from Allmacraft.com. A webshop from the Ukraine I recently discovered. They sell THE most beautiful laces, guipure, crochets and other goodies, you really must take a look.

I would like to enter this card in these challenges:

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs, Henriette.

Altered book box

Hi everyone! I'm very pleased with this project I'm about to share with you. It turned out so beautiful (this is mainly because of the papers I used). I've made a lot of photo's so you can see the total project.

It all started with this ugly book box I bought at a Dutch store called Kruidvat. I already knew that I wanted to alter it.

First I covered the entire book box with 2 layers of gesso. Then I cut the 12x12 Birdsong papers from Mintay papers to size.
I covered the outside, inside and sides of the book box with the papers from the set. I LOVE these papers, they are really beautiful.

Before gluing on the first paper layer I adhered the white laces so the book can be closed.
I made a panel with the wood planks paper and glued one of the inlay cards behind it.

The inside is kept simple with a little birdsnest, some branches, moss and feathers. The gorgeous papers are pretty enough.

Then it was time to decorate the front of the book box.
I used all kinds of materials from my stash; laces, ribbon, chord, paper flowers, resin frames, feathers, sissal and skeleton leaves. The big daisy flowers are from Lemoncraft.

I also included cut outs from the paper set and two butterflies.

This book box has a real spring feel.
It was my first big altering project and I had fun making it. I hope you like it to.

My inspiration came from the colors, the springtheme and the flowers in the lower left corner.

Spring ..... please!

Hi,

Today it is very cold here in The Netherlands, a cold wind is blowing and it is no fun to be outside.
My daughter's school had it's annual Spring fair today and as we cycled to her school to
bring some home baked apple turnovers it was so cold! Brrrrrrrr.

The rest of the day I stayed in and made a spring themed card.

The sketch I used is from sweet-sunday-sketch-challenge.

The digital stamp is from The Greeting Farm. Colored it using Photoshop.
The lovely background paper is digital from this Etsy shop Savvy Silver Banners.

The sentiment is from Desert Diva.

If you are longing for spring as much as I do, I hope this card gives you a bit of spring feeling!

Spring has Sprung

Hello,

Today it was a sunny day here in the Netherlands. Although it was only 6 degrees celsius, the sun was shining and the sky was clear and blue.

The past few days I have made the following card, again with a spring theme.

The digi stamp is from bee crafty http://bee-crafty.blogspot.com/. I used some paper from the prima marketing for the dress and hat. I colored the stamp with crayons.
The paper is from prima marketing Jack 'n Jill.
The swirls have some glitter on it (it doesn't always show on the picture). The sentiment is a freebie from Netty's cards http://nettyscards.blogspot.com/2011/02/spring-is-in-air-and-freebie-sentiment.html

I am entering this card in the next challenges:
Bee crafty: theme spring flowers
Scrapbook sisters: theme spring

I hope you will have a good week.

And thanks for looking at my blog!!
