I LOVE all the pirates movies! Seen them many times. Jack always makes me laugh. So I was very happy to see the June stamps.
For the release day I made a pirate map card.
The map is a free download. There are lots of treasure maps to download on internet. I found my free download here.
The coloring of the water, mountains and cross I did digitally in photoshop. I tried coloring it with my alcohol markers but I wasn't pleased with the results. So I colored the map in Photoshop and printed it on paper from a brown paperbag.
To give the paper an old look I torn and wrinkled the paper en distressed the edges using Tim Holtz distress ink.
I stamped the sentiment also on the same paper and distressed the edges.
Then I attached the paper to grey cardstock and added a piece of rope and a wheel embellishment.
I put some foam pads under the sentiment.
