Foamiran flower

I made this foamiran flower a few weeks ago and forgot to write a blog post about it and now I can't recall where I've got the idea from and how I've made it. Especially the centre of the flower.  I'm sorry. Well I hope you will enjoy the pictures of the flower.

Foamiran Dahlia

Today I'm sharing a foamiran dahlia. It resembles the chrysanthemum flower I made last April.

For this dahlia I used a template I found on internet. You can find the template here.
It's in Russian so I don't understand what it says but I've cut as many leaves as is in the middle of the templates. For example the biggest petals I've cut 5 times.

For the petals I've used white foamiran and for the green leaves I used green foamiran.
For the coloring pink and yellow chalks and baby wipes. For the green leaves I used green and brown chalks.

For the centre of the flower I used a ball of silver foil covered with the yellow colored foamiran.
I glued all the pieces together with my hot glue gun.

The cutting of the petals takes the most of the time to create this flower, maybe if you have that kind of dies you can use them.
Good luck if you are going to make the same flower, it will look beautiful.

Hugs, Henriette.

Adding beads to a card

I do like to experiment with using different materials on cards and today I'm showing you a card on which I included some flowers made with beads.

It's a very clean and simple card but the word die, the sentiment and the beaded flowers do make it interesting.

You can find a tutorial on how to make these bead flowers here (it's from luvleescrappin).
I used smaller beads for my flowers but kind of the same technique.

The "smile die"  is from the inspired by stamping July release and so is the sentiment.
The sequins are part of the valentines day kit .

As I said it's a CAS card but with an unusual embellishment to it and not so difficult to make.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

Scabious foamiran flower

Sharing another foamiran flower I've made these past days. It's a kind of scabious flower but not quite the same.

I watched this video with a tutorial (it's in Russian) and used this template.

The foamiran I bought at 14craftbar .
I did not follow the steps exactly the same way but gave my own twist to the flower.
For the center of the flower I used little green and blue styrofoam balls. I used some cheap super glue but the balls reacted strangely to the glue and began to shrink. It did not bother me much so I left it as it was.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Full bloom

I've been making some more foamiran flowers and this time I also made a card with them.

I made the pink flowers with the smallest die from the Rosy Dot AC1 dies.
The gypsophila flowers I made using two dies from the craftin desert divas garden border die set.

Aren't they cute? I love gypsophila ever since I was a child and I'am very happy now that I know how to create these with foamiran.

For the pink flowers I used pink foamiran sheet and I colored the flowers with green/yellow and dark pink chalks before putting them to the hot iron.

After I made the branch I decided to make a card with these flowers.

The sentiment is from the inspired by stamping magnolias stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Foamiran Vintage Rose

After two months of decorating, moving and furnishing our new house it was so delightful to be making a flower from foamiran in my little craftroom today. I was a totally happy girl.

I've got the idea for this vintage rose from a video tutorial I saw on You tube.
Here is a link to that video in case you also want to make this beautiful rose.

I just followed the steps as shown in the video and made the flower in about 2 to 3 hours.

It's a beautiful flower I think.

A few days later I've made the same kind of flower but this time in a purple color.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
