Inspired by stamping Blog Hop

I've used several Inspired by stamping products on my card. Not only the gorgeous lily of the valley stamp set but also the happy sentiment stamp set and the happy die.

I colored the flowers with spectrum noir markers. For the finishing touch I've added a few sequins.

Christmas Match boxes with Inspired by Stamping Sugar & Spice stamp set

Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing I think what is my first Christmas project of this year.
These cute match boxes will make a great Christmas card alternative to send to families with small children or friends.

Before I started with my project I looked for a color scheme and these were the colors I wanted to use.

First I made the match boxes using a template from templatemaker.nl and dark brown cardstock.
The paper is from a store called Action and perfect for the theme.
I used the super cute Sugar & spice stamp set from Inspired by Stamping.

This is such a great set with all the sweets and the cute gingerbread men. 

You can give the gingerbread men hats, scarfs, bowtie and other decorations.

I used some google eyes on my gingerbread men.

Magnolia flower card

Today I'm sharing this magnolia card made with the beautiful magnolias stamp set  from Inspired by Stamping.

First I stamped the flowers on white card stock with Memento tuxedo black ink and I colored the images with my spectrum noir markers.

After that I fussy cut the colored images.

I used two dies from the inspired by stamping label dies to cut out labels for the sentiments.

I stamped the word happy with versamark ink and heat embossed it with nuvo silver embossing powder. Then I stamped the word birthday on a piece of fuchia colored cardstock. Both stamps are from the inspired by stamping Happy set.

Finally I assembled my card. The white splatters on the fuchia cardstock I made with Ranger white dylusions ink spray. I also added a few silver dots embellishments.

Cupcake inspiration challenge

Inspired by stamping  is sponsoring the Cupcake Inspiration challenge and these are the cupcakes to inspire you to make a project with the suggested theme or colors.

My inspiration was the wonderful color combination teal, orange and white. I've made this card.

I used a stencil and white pigment inkt on the teal diamant shaped piece and I made the little flowers myself  using foamiran.

I used a white sheet of foamiran and with chalks and a baby whipe I colored the die cut flowers teal and orange.

The sentiment stamp is from the inspired by stamping cherry blossom stamp set. The label dies are also from Inspired by stamping.

For the finishing touch I've added some teal colored pearls and sequins.

Adding beads to a card

I do like to experiment with using different materials on cards and today I'm showing you a card on which I included some flowers made with beads.

It's a very clean and simple card but the word die, the sentiment and the beaded flowers do make it interesting.

You can find a tutorial on how to make these bead flowers here (it's from luvleescrappin).
I used smaller beads for my flowers but kind of the same technique.

The "smile die"  is from the inspired by stamping July release and so is the sentiment.
The sequins are part of the valentines day kit .

As I said it's a CAS card but with an unusual embellishment to it and not so difficult to make.

Full bloom

I've been making some more foamiran flowers and this time I also made a card with them.

I made the pink flowers with the smallest die from the Rosy Dot AC1 dies.
The gypsophila flowers I made using two dies from the craftin desert divas garden border die set.

Aren't they cute? I love gypsophila ever since I was a child and I'am very happy now that I know how to create these with foamiran.

For the pink flowers I used pink foamiran sheet and I colored the flowers with green/yellow and dark pink chalks before putting them to the hot iron.

After I made the branch I decided to make a card with these flowers.

The sentiment is from the inspired by stamping magnolias stamp set.

Gift boxes using sentiment stamps from Inspired by stamping

I've created two gift boxes using sentiments from the Inspired by stamping July release stamp set Summer bouquet.

The boxes are not my own design, I saw a video tutorial on You tube, you can find it here.

For the pink box I used pink cardstock and beautiful patterned paper from a Dutch store.

I have decorated the box with a handmade foamiran flower (here is my blogpost on foamiran flowers) and the sentiment is from the stamp set.

For the other box I used gorgeous tissue paper that came with a present. It was so pretty I saved it and it was perfect for a gift box.
I glued the tissue paper on the pre-scored cardstock.

I used some glitter accents and a little black flower to embellish the box.
The box is perfect for little wedding gifts or birthday gifts.

The dies I used for the tag are nesti dies from inspired by stamping.
They also sell that cute little flower on the sentiment tag.

Making boxes is fun and a great way to use your pretty papers, sentiment stamps and embellishments.

Inspired by Stamping July Release Day 3

Welcome to Inspired by Stamping’s July 2017 Release! I'm are so happy you are here.

This week Inspired by Stamping is releasing 3 new stamp sets and 2 new coordinating die cuts to their store. All new products are already available in the store! You can visit the store by clicking here.

Today the team is showcasing the new Happy stamp set and die.
I've created 2 cards.  They are very clean and simple cards because I'm in de middle of moving and most of my craft stuff are in moving boxes.

For this card I've used the happy die to cut out the word 3 times using different pattern papers.

The birthday sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder.

For the other card I used the cotton buds stamp technique.

With a cotton bud and different shades of pink ink I made the flowers and then added some green. It's suprisingly easy to make it.

I stamped the sentiment using my mini misy tool.

I've created this card. It's very clean and simple because I'm in de middle of moving and most of my craft stuff are in moving boxes.

I've stamped the image with versamark ink on grey cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Then I've colored a few of the items with wink of stella GL white brush and added the sentiment and a few pearls.

Aloha, friends.
Today I'm sharing a tropical card made with the Inspired by Stamping plumerias stamp set.

Here is a step-by-step photo instruction on how I've created this card.
First I've made the background panel using watercolor paper, distress markers and a acrylic block.

With the distress markers and ink I draw sections/lines on the acrylic block, some overlapping and spritz some water on it.

Then I placed the waterpaper on the block and pushed.
After taking the paper off the block I dapped some of the areas and used my heat gun to dry the ink.

I die cut a rectangular panel also from waterpaper and placed it on the watercolored background. I used a few double sided tapes to hold the two peices together.
Using my mini Misty I stamped the plumerias on the top and bottom with versamark ink and heat embossed it with WOW gold embossing powder.

I took the panel off the background and watercolored the flowers using distress markers and my waterpencil.

I stamped the sentiment with pink ink, put the card together and added a few golden sequins.

Shabby Chic flowers

The past few weeks I've taken an interest in Shabby Chic, especially flowers.
I've been watching tutorials and purchased some lace and chipboard/plywood laser cuts (at this great store: http://wycinanka.net/).

I've already made a few cards and some lace flowers like this one.

I adore the pink and grey lace. The ornament in the middle I also made using beads and other bits and pieces I had in my stash.

The big flower on my next card I also made from trims of lace.

The paper on this card I had in my stash for many years, I think it's from Tilda. It's gorgeous paper.
The frame is from Wycinanka. I glued the two pieces together and painted it with white acryl paint mixed with chalk to get the right color. I made the frame look old bij adding brown chalk and silver ink.

The sentiment is from a lily of the valley stamp set from Inspired by stamping.
The big flower is made from white and pink lace and a in the middle a fabric rose. The small silver roses are from metal, so this card combines shabby chic with modern. I thought "why not?"

Finally I've added some pearls and a piece of silver lace.
