CrafTangles blog hop - Mixed media

Hi everyone, today starts another blog hop at CrafTangles and we're showcasing anything mixed media. CrafTangles has lots of mixed media essentials available for instance effect pastes like patina and rust but I choose moss effect for my project, a tag.

First I cut out a tag shape using heavy cardboard and cover it with a coat of gesso.
Then I added the moss effect paste until I was pleased with how it looked.

I've added curly moss, branches, pine cones, leaves and berries and a cute paper squirrel.

On the tag chord I attached a little tag with a good luck sentiment stamped on it.

Hi all,

These days it seems that I can't find my mojo anywhere. So frustrating.
I'm just to busy with my full time job, running a household with a teenager, etc.
I simply haven't got enough time to come up with nice ideas for cards.

It took some thinking and surfing for my next card I'm showing you and I'm not all that pleased with it.

It is in a very simple CAS style.
The cute owl is a freebie from Paper Smooches. I made it into a snow owl using Photoshop.
I made the sentiment using embossing powder.
The stamp is from a previous Simon Says Stamp card Kit.
I cut the tree out of some paper from a previous cardkit from Jillibean Soup.

Autumn

Hello,

Although I do like autumn season, I don't make many autumn themed cards. Maybe that's
because I don't like the color combinations much.

But today's card is an true autumn card to enter in some challenges.

The funny digital stamp is a part from crafts on the net free download page from
Simply Cards & Papercraft with autumnal images. Here is a link.
I colored the image using Photoshop.
The background paper is from Basic Grey - Picadilly Apple Ochard.
The other bits 'n pieces are from my own supplies.
