Hello, I'm excited to be participating in the Spellbinders July Blog hop.

There is a ton of inspiration this month!

If all is well You should have arrived here from Rosemary Dennis blog.

Today we are celebrating Spellbinders fabulous Club kits for July and

I have used the large die set of the month to create this vintage looking

slimline card and envelope.

The paper I used is from Craft O'Clock called "Vintage bisou".

Between the layers of the envelope and card I added pieces of

beautiful laces and trims.

The sentiment is from the Mini Everyday Sentiments set.

I used Spellbinders rose gold glimmer foil.

Here's a close up picture of the embellished envelope.

Hello, welcome at the SPELLBINDERS CLUBS January Blog Hop

The Spellbinders design team have created gorgeous projects with the January kits to share with you. Please check each blog on the hop for inspiration.

Hopefully you have found your way to me after checking out Jean Manis blog.

For my card I was inspired by the cute sweethearts candy.

These iconic heart shaped candies are perfect to celebrate Valentine and to use in

combination with the January large die set

I used this color palette to make my own colored cardstock and cut out all the elements.

I used a slightly darker colored cardstock to offset the die cuts.

On the three larger hearts I printed Valentine sayings.

Finally I've added a bundle of flowers and sprigs beneath the yellow heart.

Spellbinders March Clubs Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog and the Spellbinders March Clubs blog hop.

The Spellbinders team created beautiful project with all the March kits.

I'm sharing my second project with this months
Amazing Paper Grace die set.

In my precious post I shared a card (you can find it here) and now I'm showing you
another way to use the dies namely to decorate an explosion box.

The box is from Goat box, it's pre-cut and you only have to fold it.

I decorated the box with yellow cardstock and spring paper from Creative depot.

For the lid I used the frame die and the circle die from the set.

The flowers are cut from different colors foamiran sheets using the flower dies.

I used pink, white, yellow foamiran and because I didn't have the right color blue I took some white foamiran and colored it with a blue oil pastel.

(I have a few foamiran flower making tutorials on my you tube channel).

On the inside of the box I used the corner die and also the frame and circle dies.

In the middle of the circles I glued yellow flatback pearl buttons.

In the center I placed a half styrofoam ball and glued many die cut flowers on it.
It reminds me of field of spring flowers.

I also cut out the word congrats twice, once from yellow cardstock and once
from the patterned paper and layered them a bit off set.

With a little strip of plastic packaging I attached the sentiment on the
styrofoam centre between the flowers.
You can hardly see it from a distance and it's like the word is floating.

CrafTangles blog hop - Mixed media

Hi everyone, today starts another blog hop at CrafTangles and we're showcasing anything mixed media. CrafTangles has lots of mixed media essentials available for instance effect pastes like patina and rust but I choose moss effect for my project, a tag.

First I cut out a tag shape using heavy cardboard and cover it with a coat of gesso.
Then I added the moss effect paste until I was pleased with how it looked.

I've added curly moss, branches, pine cones, leaves and berries and a cute paper squirrel.

On the tag chord I attached a little tag with a good luck sentiment stamped on it.

CrafTangles September blog hop - Waxes

Hi and welcome to my blogpost for the CrafTangles September blog hop.

Our theme is waxes and CrafTangles has recently released 9 art waxes.
It was my first time working with this medium and I had a lot of fun creating this tag.

Here a step by step photo tutorial.
First I cut out the cardboard tag and squares. I collected the embellishments; chipboards, buttons, keys.

I also added some metal elements and Craftangles art stones.

On the edges I added texture paste .

Next I made black gesso by mixing white gesso with black acrylic paint. I also added texture powder to this mix.

I painted the entire tag with the black gesso. What a transformation!

After drying I rubbed the waxes on it. It's an amazing sight how the tag changes after applying the waxes. I used Iridescent blue, pink and violet and copper penny waxes .

I hope I've given you some more inspiration on how you can use waxes.
