Happy Hauting

I know it's a bit early but I've already seen some new Halloween themed stamp sets around and so I decided to make a halloween card for the CAS on Sunday sketch challenge.

First I made the rectangle by using a mask and blending distress inks.
The scary ghost is a photoshop brush (free download here) that I printed out and colored with spectrum noir markers.
The bat is a free printable and the sentiment I made in word.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Hugs, Henriette.

Halloween CAS card

Hi and welcome,

Although Halloween is not a big thing here in The Netherlands and I'm not so fond of Halloween themed challenges,
I did made a CAS Halloween card.
I used the same card layout as I did on a baby card that I made last May.

Here is how I made this card.
First I made 5 circles in Photoshop using a Halloween color scheme.
Then I searched on Flaticon.com for Halloween icons and placed them inside the circles.
I printed them and used circle die cuts because I wanted to foam mount the middle circle.
I also made the sentiment in Photoshop using the font "an unfortunate event" and added a little spider icon in the "o".
I printed the sentiment directly on the purple cardstock.
Also did I add orange glitter paper behind the white panel.

I really like the way Debby Hughes displayes her cards on her blog.
She explains more about how she takes photos of her cards here.
I'm trying to be as good of a photographer as her, but not even close :)

Ghost CAS card

Hello,

This weeks theme at casology challenges is "Ghost".

For my card I used a the september free digital stamp from the digi stamp boutique.
I added some shadow to the digi using photoshop.
The sentiment was part of the free stamp. I altered it in Photoshop so it became one sentence.
The chevron glitter paper is from a previous Simon Says stamp card kit.
