Guest designer for Amazing Paper Grace

Hi, a few months ago I was asked to be a guest designer for Amazing Paper Grace  by Becca Feeken, owner of Amazing Paper Crace and designer for Spellbinders.
It was such an honor to be asked that I didn't have to think twice about accepting.
Becca sent me gorgeous dies to work with and during this month, November,
I will share with you 4 projects I made using her dies.

Today, the first post, I'm sharing two cards I've created with the cute shapeabilities die
"Bundle of Joy".

I made one in blue and one in pink.
The papers are from Prima Marketing, Heaven Sent.

Both cards have multiple layers.
I used white felt to make the flowers and also the bundle the stork has in
his beak is cut out of felt.
For the flowers I used the blossoms dies from the Candlewick grand pocket die set.

Here you can find all Becca Feeken designed dies.

and here is the link to the Amazing Paper Grace blog:
Take a look for lots of inspirations and beautiful cards.

Next week more from samples with Becca's dies from me.

Hugs, Henriëtte.

Baby card

Hi, today I've made a baby card with the Lullaby paper set by Lemoncraft. This is such an adorable paperset and perfect for baby cards, layouts and other projects. I also used these paper on my keepsake box project.

The colorsscheme is pink with yellow this time. I also used a few yellow crochet doilies and flowers from Allmacraft.

I folded a paper rosette to put under the sweet baby image and the sentiment is a word art from Weeds and wild flowers design.

I've added lots of pink and yellow paper flowers, white and pink leaves, felt hearts, lace and two pink feathers. I hope you like this card.

Guest designer for scrap and me

Hi, a few weeks ago I was asked by Ania from Scrap and me if I would like to be a guest designer and of course I was honoured to.

Here's a link to the scrap and me blog. I would appreciate it if you'll take a look, thanks!

Baby card with foamiran flowers

Hello friends,

A few weeks ago I won first price at scrap and me challenge. I could pick out some wonderful goodies at the scrap and me shop. One of the items I picked was the Lemoncraft paperset: Lullaby 02 and today I've made a card with these papers.

The cute pink pram (and a few other pieces) are from my favorite online shop: Allmacraft.

I've made the foamiran flowers using white and pink foamiran sheets and different flower making die sets I have in my stash.

I've also added lace trims, pearl buttons, a fabric button, beads and paper leaves.

The sentiment is wordart from weeds and wildflowers designs. I printed the wordart on patterned paper and used a scalloped die to cut it out.

Dream Little One

Last week I bought a second hand Cricut. It's one of the older versions and not what I was looking for (that I know now). Still it comes to use like on this baby card.  It's a really simple card with just two elements and a sentiment.

Baby Boy Card

A few months ago I found these cute little forest animals free download from Jeanin at some bits and pieces.
Today I used one of those animals on a baby card.

I just love the color combination of blue, white and kraft. It's perfect for a new baby card.
The tiny hearts paper is digital from this Etsy shop.

The sentiment is a combination of two word arts. The sweet beautiful baby part is from weeds and wild flowers design.

Don't mind Shaun, he's always hanging around my craft desk.

Little one

Yesterday I shared a milk carton project with you which had a cute bunny on it from kartenwind.
I made a card with that same bunny on it, not with an Easter theme but a baby theme this time.

The idea for this card came from Kelly Latevola on the Create a smile blog.
First I sponged the background using light pink, pink and light purple dye inks.
Just like Kelly did on her card I added text to make it more interesting. I stamped the word "baby" in the same
light pink ink and little hearts in light purple.
I colored the bunny with spectrum noir markers.
Then I made the sentiment in word, using a brush font for the word "welcome" and printed it on vellum.

New Baby

My second blogpost today is to share with you a baby card I made using this weeks sketch at my favorite things.

I used a bugaboo stamp which I colored with spectrum noirs.
The background paper is from Panduro design. I used a very old embossing folder for the decoratieve border.

Welcome to the world - a baby girl CAS card

Hello and  ..... Happy Mother's Day to all you Mommas!

My, not so little girl anymore (she's 14), gave me a selfmade heart shaped card with sweet words on it, some
yummy bonbons and a nice wooden calendar to put on my desk.
We made cakepops together. Baking is a great time to spend with my daughter.

I also made a baby card in my favorite style CAS.

First I made 5 circle shapes in Photoshop. I coloured the circles in gradient pink.
I downloaded free icons from this site and placed them in the circles.
With my cuttlebug I punched out the shapes.
The sentiment is word art from weeds and wild flowers design.

I would like to enter this CAS card in the following challenges:

Shaker card for a baby boy

Hello..... welcome to my blog today,

I made a shaker card to enter a Dutch challenge called hobby journaal. The theme is BABY.

example card hobby journaal

I used a digital stamp from Eline Pellinkhof. I just printed it on kraft paper.
The alpha's are die cuts from Marianne Designs and I made the little tag myself using an eyelet.
Added a charm. The background paper is from Echo park "Sunny days ahead".
The little balls in the shaking part are styrofoam balls. They look very cute but they are also very static.

Blue, white and kraft is one of my favorite color combinations.

So Precious

Hi,

The other day I ordered some paperpads and one those is from DCWV called Nana's Nursery.
It is as cute as a button.
So when it arrived I had to use it and made my next card, of course with a baby girl theme.

The sketch I used was fun to work with and is this weeks sketch challenge at Sweet sketch wednesday.

The elephant is a free printable. I cut it from patterned paper (also in DWCV Nana's Nursery).
The sentiment is free from Papercraftsmag.com.
