So Suzy stamp of the Month July

Here is another card using the So Suzy Stamp of the Month July.

Each month you will receive a stamp in the mail (and sometimes even a bonus stamp!), plus we have a fun, exclusive Facebook group where you will gain inspiration from members and the Design Team plus a video every month done by Justine Hovey. More information on So Suzy stamp of the month club.

The July stamp is a wonderful compass and this time I made a clean and simple card.

Materials used:

So Suzy Stamp of the Month
Sand and white cardstock
Versamark ink
White Embossing powder
Vellum
Varieus dies
Digital paper
Sequins
Twine

First I stamped the compass stamp on vellum and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
I used a circle die to cut out a circle,
The digital paper used to cut out two other circles is from Magical Studio on ETSY.

I also cut out a rectangular shape from white cardstock using a MFT dienamic.

I organized the circles and the sequins on the white panel and stamped a little bon voyage sentiment underneath. I do like the little shell sequins, I had them for years and now they came to good use. The twine matches the second circle.

I hope you like it and are inpired by this card.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Henriette.

Pretty Cute Stamps July Challenge

Today I'm sharing my card(s) as one of the DT member for pretty cute stamps July Challenge "by the sea".

I have used a few of the July Release Stamp sets to create 5 gift/note cards.

All the digital images are colored using photoshop and the sentiments are also placed on the images in this awesome computerprogram (I love working in Photoshop, it's also useful for coloring digital images).
Then all I had to do was to print the finished images on little white cards (about 4 by 3 inch).
I like it how the images are falling off the edge of the cards.

I hope you will join in on the Pretty Cute stamps July Challenge. You have until August 6 to upload your creation and the chance to win a $ 15 gift certificate to spend in the pretty cute stamps store.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Henriette.

Pretty Cute Stamp July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Cute Stamps Blog Hop.

If you came here from Gloria's blog, you are in the right place. If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit the PCS blog at http://prettycutestampsblog.blogspot.nl/.

I have used the Beach Bums set to create a beach boy/surfer dude card.

I have made the background by inking up a large acrylic block with tim holtz distress markers and spraying on some water with my mini mister.  I stamped the block on watercolor paper and repeated this a few times.
Once dried I used a die from MFT  to cut out a rectangular shape. Then I printed the sentiment on it.

I made the surfboard myself by printing a free template in watercolor paper. I placed stickers where the white is and painting the surfboard with Kem Oliver Metallic Sky Liquid ink. Then I stamped the palmtrees on it.

The beachboy is colored using Photoshop, printed out and fussy cut.
Different kinds of techniques combined in one card.

Pretty cute stamps is giving away a $15 Gift Certificate to the PSC store!! A random winner will be chosen on July 15.
For a chance to win please leave a comment on each of the blogs along the hop.

http://someoddgirl.ning.com/forum/topics/let-s-talk-about-the-weather-challenge

I used the Some Odd Girl digital image of beach babe Kaylee, colored her using Photohop.
The paper called "Sunbeached" is from this Etsy shop.

The sentiment is freebie Word art at Gotta Pixel.
The cute felt starfish I bought in a local craft store.

Life's a beach

Hi,

Just a quick post to share my entry for the little red wagon challenge 140 : Life's a beach!

http://lilredwagon.blogspot.nl/2012/07/challenge-140-lifes-beach.html

The stamp is a free digi I found on the internet some time ago. Colored it with Photoshop.
The background is a download from super scrap. The signpost I created myself using a free clipart image, I put the text on it and colored the image with Photoshop.

I used some small shells to embellish the card.

That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a great weekend.
