Pretty Cute Stamps Sneak peek - Scooters

Today the Pretty Cute Stamp DT members are sharing a sneak peek featuring the Pretty cute stamps
October digital stamp release.

There are really cute images in this release, some with a fall theme but also the set I've used called  "scootin'by".

The inspiration for these cards came from the Jennifer Mcguire blog. She has a great video tutorial on how to stamp sentiment backdrops and I used this technique but in a digital form.

I colored the scooter digital in Photoshop and added the sentiment backdrops also in Photoshop.
I've made 3 different color combinations.

With the color combinations used on these cards I wanted to create a kind of sixties feel.

For more fabulous sneak peeks of the new Pretty Cute stamps release please visit the other team members blogs.
Head on over to the  pretty cute stamps blog for all the details.

Tomorrow is the new release blog hop. I hope you will join us!!

Hugs, Henriette.

You can make any project you want as long as it has a Pretty Cute Animal stamp on it. Pretty Cute Stamps has lots of animal stamps in store, not only clear but also digital and you may use either one on your project.

I've made a card using digital stamps from the Sea Ya Soon set, the cute turtle and the sentiment.
And also one of the wave border stamps.

Sea Ya Soon Digital Stamps

Wave Borders Digital Stamps

My inspiration came from the movie Finding Nemo, being the part were Nemo and Dory are swimming with a group of turtles. The little turtles were so adorable.

I've made this card completely digital in Photoshop.

I hope you'll join us in this challenge and maybe you'll be the winner of a $15 Gift Certificate to the pretty cute stamps store.

Thanks for stopping by.

Pretty Cute Stamps September Release Sneak Peek - Werewolf

Welcome at the Pretty cute stamps second sneak peek day.
This month all new digital stamp sets have a back to school or a halloween theme.

One of the Halloween themed sets is this werewolf with matching sentiments.

The inspiration for my card came from the movie series "twilight". I've been watching this series again a couple of weeks ago with my daughter who had not seen this serie before but loves it now as much as I do.
I thought of werewolf Jacob and the pinetrees surroundings from the movie when making this card.

I made this little scene in photoshop. The pinetrees and moon are free photshop brushes.
After I placed the pinetrees in Photoshop I imported the werewolf and sentiment. The coloring of the werewolf is also done in photoshop.
I printed the image on vellum and placed it on white cardstock. This could be a nice halloween party invitation card.

I hope you'll join us tomorrow for the September Release Blog Hop.

Pretty Cute Stamps August Blog Hop

Hi, welcome to the PRETTY CUTE STAMPS AUGUST BLOG HOP!!

The PCS design team is sharing awesome projects featuring the adorable August digital images.
All the release images have a birthday theme.

If you came here from Shannon's  blog, you are in the right place. If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit the PCS blog at http://prettycutestampsblog.blogspot.nl/

I have made two cards featuring the Birthday Monkey  set.

My first card I made digitally in photoshop.

First I colored the monkey stamp in photoshop and saved it on my computer (as png file).
The jungle background is pre made and a free download from vector jungle.com.
I placed the monkey and the sentiment in the free jungle vector using photoshop again.
If the sentiment is changed this could also be a cute invitation card for a child's birthday party.

I did make a second card with this funny chimp and this time I colored the image by hand using my spectrum noir markers.

First I printed the image pretty large on white cardstock and colored it in.
TIP: By tracing around the image with grey or blue you can make the image pop out more.
I also printed and colored a banana and placed it in he chimps hand.
Then I printed the sentiment on the cardstock.
I glued the white panel on yellow cardstock and these on a brown card.

Two totally different cards with one cute image.

Pretty cute stamps is giving away a $15 Gift Certificate to the PSC store!! A random winner will be chosen on August 16.

Pretty Cute Stamps August release Sneak Peak

Second blog post today with the sneak peek of the August release at pretty cute stamps .
This release is all about birthdays.

There are 9 new sets of cute images with coordinating sentiments, like this little mouse.

I colored this digital stamp in Photoshop. Printed out the sentiments and used blue glitter paper to die cut the circle (die-namic from MFT).

For more sneak peeks please visit the pretty cute stamps blog.  There will be more sneaks tomorrow and on August 12 we are having the release blog hop.
I hope I'll be seeing you again for that fun hop.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hey, Little Sailor

Today I'm sharing a clean and simple card I've made using the cute Little Sailor set and the flag on the Sailmate set from the Pretty Cute Stamps July release.

I colored all the digital elements in photoshop.
After coloring I rotated the flag and duplicate it and resized the boat so that it would look like a toy.
That is the benefit of using digital images, you can resize, duplicate and rotate them so easily.

For the backpanel and stitching on the sentiment I used dies from My Favorite Things.
This would make a cute card for a little boy.

I hope you have enjoyed my post. Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs, Henriette.

Pretty Cute Stamps July Challenge

Today I'm sharing my card(s) as one of the DT member for pretty cute stamps July Challenge "by the sea".

I have used a few of the July Release Stamp sets to create 5 gift/note cards.

All the digital images are colored using photoshop and the sentiments are also placed on the images in this awesome computerprogram (I love working in Photoshop, it's also useful for coloring digital images).
Then all I had to do was to print the finished images on little white cards (about 4 by 3 inch).
I like it how the images are falling off the edge of the cards.

I hope you will join in on the Pretty Cute stamps July Challenge. You have until August 6 to upload your creation and the chance to win a $ 15 gift certificate to spend in the pretty cute stamps store.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Henriette.

Pretty Cute Stamp July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Cute Stamps Blog Hop.

If you came here from Gloria's blog, you are in the right place. If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit the PCS blog at http://prettycutestampsblog.blogspot.nl/.

I have used the Beach Bums set to create a beach boy/surfer dude card.

I have made the background by inking up a large acrylic block with tim holtz distress markers and spraying on some water with my mini mister.  I stamped the block on watercolor paper and repeated this a few times.
Once dried I used a die from MFT  to cut out a rectangular shape. Then I printed the sentiment on it.

I made the surfboard myself by printing a free template in watercolor paper. I placed stickers where the white is and painting the surfboard with Kem Oliver Metallic Sky Liquid ink. Then I stamped the palmtrees on it.

The beachboy is colored using Photoshop, printed out and fussy cut.
Different kinds of techniques combined in one card.

Pretty cute stamps is giving away a $15 Gift Certificate to the PSC store!! A random winner will be chosen on July 15.

Pretty Cute Stamps July release Sneak Peek

Today is the first Sneak Peek day of the Pretty Cute Stamps July Release.

This release has 11 beach and nautical themed digital stamps and the are adorable!
I have made a card using the lighthouse stamp (and sentiment).

The background is made by using a cloud shaped template and sponging blue distress inks.

I cut out an ached shape by using a die from My favorite things and I used two of those dies to cut out the white frame. The lighthouse is colored digital in photoshop and I found matching paper to place on the sides of the card.

For more sneak peeks please visit the pretty cute stamps blog.
There will be a release blog hop on July 13th. I hope you will hop along.

Hugs, Henriette.

Pretty Cute Stamps - fishes

Today I'm sharing a circle card I've created with these stamp sets from pretty cute stamps.

Seahorse Digital Stamps              Hugs and Fishes Digital Stamps

                                          Be a Mermaid Digital Stamps

I made the background using water color paints. Then I printed the fishes, seahorse and starfish in greyscale on cardstock and colored them using my spectrum noir markers.
I think you can see that I used "Nemo" as an inspiration for the clownfish.

If you also would like to use cute sea creatures on your creations please visit the Pretty cute stamp store for more cute digital stamps.

I would like to enter this card in these challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Henriëtte.

Sublime

I have made a card to enter the CAS this sketch challenge this week.

For my card I used the cute submarine stamp from Pretty cute stamps.
As I was coloring this digital stamp in Photoshop of course the song yellow submarine popped in my head.
So I colored the submarine yellow, why not? (It was that or pink, remember "operation petticoat")?

I also used the sentiment and bubbles from the set and a die-namic from my favorite stamps
to create waves behind the propellers.

That's it for today. Thanks for visiting.

Hugs, Henriette.

Fourth of July

To all my friends from the USA a Happy 4th of July!
Have a wonderful day!

Pretty cute stamps - sea ya soon

(My blogpost for So Suzy Stamp of the Month please scroll down).

I'm sharing 5 cards I made using almost all the animals from the "Sea Ya Soon" set from Pretty cute stamps. The clear stamp set is out of stock but luckily now these stamps are available as digital stamps!

I printed out all the animals (in grayscale) and colored them with my spectrum noir markers.
For the sentiments I used the "Sea life" set also digital from pretty cute stamps.
The paper is digital scallop paper from The Digi Rainbow. I have them in 100 colors!

SALE 100 tiny scallop digital paper baby girl digital paper shower printable nautical pattern cute scrapbook 12x12 pastel neutral bright dar

I cut out five different shades of blue using a MFT die-namic and glued them to white square cardstock.

Then I added all the sentiments and little shinny stars.

Together these cards make a fun set. If you also want to play with these funny digital stamps,
please visit the pretty cute stamps store.

Thanks for spending time on my blog. I hope you'll visit again!

Hugs, Henriette.
