So Suzy Stamp of the Month December

This is my last post featuring the So Suzy Stamp of the Month. This month all who subscribed will receive this sentiment stamp plus a bonus stamp AND .... everyone who signed up for the entire year will be receiving a couple of fabulous surprises with December's kits!

Together with all the previous months you'll have a wonderful collection of nautical/coastal themed stamps.

I have two cards for you today because the So Suzy website and store are closing down the second half of December to come back in the new year with a brand new and fabulous new site and store.

On my first card I only used sentiment stamp.

I stamped the sentiment with versamark ink and heat embossed it with WOW earthtone mint embossing powder. The paper is digital paper from this Etsy shop. I thought the waves and arrows pattern fits the sentiment very well.
I've added a few enamel dots and wood veneer arrows. I've painted the wooden arrows in the same colors as the paper.

For my second card I played around with watercolor paints on watercolor paper until I was happy enough with the ocean kind of look. I used a MFT die to cut out the frame.
On a scrap piece of watercolor paper I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder.
I stamped the sand dollar 3 times with brown ink (one is second generations stamping) and fussy cut them.

I've never seen a sand dollar in real live. I don't think they can be found on beaches here in the Netherlands, but I do like them as I love all shells.

I hope you are inspired by my examples with the December stamp of the month.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Pretty Cute Stamps Challenge - Animal Kindgom

It's time again for the Pretty Cute Stamps Challenge and this month the theme is: Animal Kingdom.

You can make any project you want as long as it has a Pretty Cute Animal stamp on it. Pretty Cute Stamps has lots of animal stamps in store, not only clear but also digital and you may use either one on your project.

I've made a card using digital stamps from the Sea Ya Soon set, the cute turtle and the sentiment.
And also one of the wave border stamps.

Sea Ya Soon Digital Stamps

Wave Borders Digital Stamps

My inspiration came from the movie Finding Nemo, being the part were Nemo and Dory are swimming with a group of turtles. The little turtles were so adorable.

I've made this card completely digital in Photoshop.

I hope you'll join us in this challenge and maybe you'll be the winner of a $15 Gift Certificate to the pretty cute stamps store.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs, Henriette

Pretty cute stamps blog hop

Welcome to the Pretty Cute stamps Blog Hop. There are a lot of amazing new digital stamps set on this hop.

If you came here from Lisa's at pretty cute stamp blog, you are in the right place. If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit the PCS blog at http://prettycutestampsblog.blogspot.nl/.

I used two stamp sets on my card: the inner mermaid and merman.
Great sets with cute images and many sentiments.

Here are all the supplies I used:
Water colour paint (local store)
Water colour paper
White linen inks spray from Ranger.
Sequins
Perfect Pearls (Ranger)
White cardstock.
Digital stamp sets mermaid & merman from pretty cute stamps shop.

First I made the background using watercolour paints. After the paint dried added drops of white ink spray. I printed the sentiment on it.

I did the coloring of the digital images in Photoshop.

It's easy to print out your digital stamps with your printer in grayscale and then color them with alcohol markers, pencils etc.

I added perfect pearls to the mermaids tail to give it a pearly shine.

Pretty cute stamps is giving away a $15 Gift Certificate to the PSC store!!

Enjoy the hop and good luck in the draw.

Hugs, Henriette.

Jellyfish

I like jellyfish. Not getting stung by one while swimming in the sea but I like to watch them just floating around in a zoo aquarium. They have something serene, calming, ancient (do I make sense?) and they look so cute.

I adore jellyfish!:

I've made a card with a lot of jellyfish on it. I used this colorscheme from MFT color challenge.

I've made the background in Photoshop using the colors from the challenge and added the jellyfish (Bugaboo stamp) in different sizes and angles. Then I added the sentiment on a strip of the same color paper.

I'm entering this card in these challenges:

Have a lovely weekend! Thanks for visiting my blog.

Sea Critters Shaker Card

Hello everyone,

Today is my part-time day so I had some time to finish a shaker card
I was working on with a sea critters theme.

I love the cute stingrays digital stamp from 2CuteInk. I colored the digi in Photoshop.
Made the shaker part using my cuttlebug, foam, acetate and little beads. I wanted it to look like a porthole.
The sentiment is made in Word and printed on the orange cardstock.

I would like to enter this card in these challenges:

Thanks for the visit.

Hugs Henriëtte.

Footprints in the sand

Hi and welcome,

Today is a holiday here in the Netherlands because of the crowning of the our king Willem-Alexander.
I'm not royalastic at all (I know that seems strange to some of you, a lot of people who don't have a monarchy find it
fairytale like).  Most people in The Netherlands do like the monarchy though.

Yesterday I made my next card and today I have some time to share it.
It is a beach scenery card.

The background scenary is clipart from dollar graphics depot.
The digital stamp is from just some lines. Colored it using Photoshop.
The footprints and sentiment were part of the clipart.

I would like to enter this card in the next challenges:
