Junk journal from old photo album

 Hi and happy Sunday.

Today I'm sharing my latest junk journal with you.

It is made from a old photo album that I've won bidding at an online action.

The album is dated around 1900 and it had 4 original photo's in it (carte de visite).

I've cut out all the photo frames and used the cover to make a junk journal 

with a hidden spine.

It is a large journal, 10,5 x 8,5 inches  and it has lots of original vintage

 papers and ephemera pieces

The journal was listed in my Etsy shop but it was sold in no time. 😊😲

Lapbook "field notes"

Hi, today I'm sharing a project I've been working on for the last couple of weeks.

I followed the tutorials by Nik the Booksmith on YouTube on how to make a lapbook. 

Her tutorials are 12 video's, so not a small project. You can find the first one here.

I made my lapbook using Tim Holtz papers, ephemera and lots of other 

items from the new field notes release.

I've taken a lot of pictures and also taped a flip through video which you can watch on my YT channel. It is for sale in my ETSY shop (links below all the photo's).

Sewing themed junk journal

Hi, today I'm sharing pictures of another junk journal I've made.

I've wanted to make a sewing themed journal for some time now and 

I've been collecting ephemera, papers and other related items for the last few months.

It has about 60 tea dyed papers and lots of handmade tags, snippets, button cards, laces and more.

Flower junk journals

Hi, I've made 3 flower junk journals that are inspired by Amity Bloom's journals.

I used 1980's wallpaper for the covers. Each journal has 3 signatures with more than 100 pages. Vintage ledger (1930's), tea dyed papers, music paper and many more.

There a many pockets filled with wallpaper and fabric pieces.

Here are pictures of two of these journals.

Snail mail envelope

Hi, I saw a video tutorial on Nik the Booksmith you tube channel about a specimen pouch folio thingie and I loved the design so much, I made one myself. You can find Nik's video here.

I call it a snail mail envelope.

I used the inside cardboard of a wrapping paper roll for the cover of my envelope.

The inside has four pockets/tuck spots to put in all kinds of ephemera, little notes 

stickers and other goodies.

I love how this envelope turned out.
