Aloha, friends.
Today I'm sharing a tropical card made with the Inspired by Stamping plumerias stamp set.

Here is a step-by-step photo instruction on how I've created this card.
First I've made the background panel using watercolor paper, distress markers and a acrylic block.

With the distress markers and ink I draw sections/lines on the acrylic block, some overlapping and spritz some water on it.

Then I placed the waterpaper on the block and pushed.
After taking the paper off the block I dapped some of the areas and used my heat gun to dry the ink.

I die cut a rectangular panel also from waterpaper and placed it on the watercolored background. I used a few double sided tapes to hold the two peices together.
Using my mini Misty I stamped the plumerias on the top and bottom with versamark ink and heat embossed it with WOW gold embossing powder.

I took the panel off the background and watercolored the flowers using distress markers and my waterpencil.

I stamped the sentiment with pink ink, put the card together and added a few golden sequins.

Pineapple

Today I'm sharing a pineapple card. I love pineapples!

First I made the background using blue and green brushes from a store called Action.
Not good quality brushes but they have beautiful colors.
Then I stamped the pineapples with versamark ink and heat set them with WOW gold embossing powder.
The pineapple stamp is from a Dutch Store called HEMA.
I used a die from MFT to cut out the panel.
I've made the sentiment myself and printed it on vellum. Again I used a die from MFT to cut out the circle. Last I stamped the pineapple once again with green en yellow ink on white cardstock

Tropical Flowers

In contrast to the autumn weather outside and Christmas fast approaching I made a summer card
with tropical flowers.

I used a stencil from Deepti Malik that I purchased at stamplorations.
First I colored the stencil with yellow Tim Holtz distress marker, added water with a mister and rub the stencil on waterpaper (300 gr). Then I used my heatgun to dry the paper.
I placed the stencil on the paper again and with sponge daubers I colored in the flowers and leaves using
vibrant dye inks from Clearly Kelly.
The smile word die is a cutting template from Little Yellow Bicycle.

It is the first card I made using a stencil and I did like working on it.
