Friends are a gift

Today should have been release day for So Suzy Stamp of the month club but unfortunately the stamp haven't arrived yet. Sometimes shipping and customs take to much time. Hopefully the stamp will arrive before my post on the 28th.

So instead today I'm sharing a card I made for a guest designer application at Joanna Munster.
This was the Inspirational photo.

Inspired by Stamping Guest Design Team Call Inspiration Photo

I love the color combination pink and gold. Here is how I've made my card.

The idea for this card came from watching a Jennifer Mcguire video. I used a stencil (from stamplorations) for embossing a piece of pink cardstock.

I also die cut two circles using my cuttlebug, one is white cardstock, the other is golden spiderwebpaper. From gold glitterpaper I cut out a small strip.
On the white circle I heat embossed a sentiment using WOW embossing powder.

Then I made some flowers using gold and white embossing powder on vellum (flower stamps are from ebay).

Next I put the card together and added a few sequins.

I hope you like this card and would love to hear from you what you think.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs, Henriëtte.

Pretzels

Happy Saturday! A quick post today to share a funny card.

The pretzels and beer are part of a free printable coloring calender you can find at damask love.
This is such a adorable calender. I love it!

I colored the pretzels and beer with pencils and cut them out.
For the background I used a stencil from Pandora and Bahama Blue dye ink from memento.
I made the sentiment in word. For the die cutting I used die namics from MFT.

Huge Hugs

Yesterday I made this card. For the background I used a stencil, daubers and dye inks.
The cactus and sentiment are stamps from paper smooches.
The heart balloon is a stamp from a previous simon says stamp card kit.
I colored the cactus with spectrum noir markers.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

Tropical Flowers

In contrast to the autumn weather outside and Christmas fast approaching I made a summer card
with tropical flowers.

I used a stencil from Deepti Malik that I purchased at stamplorations.
First I colored the stencil with yellow Tim Holtz distress marker, added water with a mister and rub the stencil on waterpaper (300 gr). Then I used my heatgun to dry the paper.
I placed the stencil on the paper again and with sponge daubers I colored in the flowers and leaves using
vibrant dye inks from Clearly Kelly.
The smile word die is a cutting template from Little Yellow Bicycle.

It is the first card I made using a stencil and I did like working on it.

I would like to enter this card in these challenges:
