Spellbinders large die of the month July 2021 - Mini Slimline envelope & nested card creator

Hello crafty friends! I hope you are doing well.

It's time to share my make with the Spellbinders large die set of the month July.

This month the set has 16 cutting dies and you can make a mini slimline card and envelope with them.

The designpaper I used to create the envelope and card panel is from Creative-Depot called Blumenwiese. I absolutely adore this paper and it was perfect for this project.

The happy birthday sentiment is also part of this months set and so are the flower dies.
You can create such lovely flowers in all the colors you like.

Spellbinders small die of the month May - Arched A2 & Slimline Card Creator

Hi and welcome to my blog.

I have a pretty card to share with the Spellbinders small die of the month May.

This die set is called the Arched A2 & slimline card creator and it has 5 cutting dies.

I went for a slimline card this time in bright pink and gold colors.

I started with a white top fold card and glued a slightly smaller gold panel on the base.
On top of the gold I've added a fuchsia colored panel.

I die cut the arch twice from light pink cardstock and glued them together
overlapping the bottom brackets.
The arch die is also used to die cut two golden circles.

On the 2 golden circles I glued two light pink circles and the
inner rims from fuchsia cardstock.
The strip in the middle has 3 layers and the sentiment is from the
mini everyday hot foil sentiment set.

The card is embellished with little flowers and leaves from the Spellbinders January
large die set and a few sequins.

I think this slimline card turned out very pretty.

You can find the small die of the month club here.

Spellbinders large die of the month February

Hi, I'm back with yet another card using the Spellbinders Large die of the

 month February 2021.

I've already showed you two other examples, you can find them here in this blog post.

This card is a clean and simple card.

I started with an 13,5 x 13,5 cm top fold ivory card base.

I rounded the bottom corners using a cornerpunch from Vaessen creative.

Next I die cut the word happy, the numbers and the superscript out of patterned papers

from Lemoncraft called "Yesterday".

Once out of the flowery patterned paper and once from the mint colored paper.

I glued the flower patterned die cuts off set on the mint colored.

Behind the mint piece I glued 4 layers of white cardstock die cuts, so the letters and numbers are pretty thick.

I glued them on a paper panel and added mint colored enamel dots.

This card is simple and easy to make, most of the time goes into the gluing of the layers.

I'm sharing my inspiration with you with the February small die set.

This month's die set is called Trefoil Tile & Panel card creator and it has 10 cutting dies.

When I first saw the panel die I immediately thought of Middle Eastern tiles.

I really love those tiles.

I wanted to make a card something like that.

As I didn't have suistable papers I bought digital papers on Etsy with Arabic tile patterns.

I cut out tree panels in ivory cardstock and glued them on blue cardstock.
I backed it with golden yellow cardstock. I repeated the golden yellow also
in random places in the panels.
Then I die cut the trefoil pieces using the Arabic tiles patterned papers.

I made the sentiment in Word matching the blues and attached it to the card.

Finally I also added a few bling bling.

I hope I've inspired you with an idea on how to use the February die set.

Flower card for Craft Box UK

Hello crafty friends, so nice of you to visit my blog!

Today I'm sharing a card made with the beautiful "Come Home"collection by Anna Hersom.

This collection consists of paper pads, ephemera and stickers designed by Craft Box UK owner Anna Hersom and it's only available at Craft Box UK

I love the gorgeous colors of teal and mint green.

Here's my card.

I made a slim line card this time.
It measures 10,5 x 21,5 cm (4 x 8,5 inches).

I've added lace, a paper doily, fussy cut elements, resin flowers and
handmade foamiran flowers and leaves.

The blue foamiran flowers are made using white foamiran which I colored with
oil pastels until it matched the papers.
I used flowers dies from Crealies.
I also made white foamiran flowers, tiny blue flowers and green leaves.

The sentiment is made in word with a beautiful font.

More inspiration can be found in the Facebook groups Craft Boxers and
Crafting with Anna Hersom. You're are welcome to join these groups.

Morning dreams

Hi, 14 craft bar has some new paper collections available in the webshop and one of these papers is "morning dreams". They are available in these sizes: 6x6, 12x12 and 6x12 (with extra elements to cut).

I've made a card with these beautiful papers and tried to make matching foamiran flowers.

I studied the flowers on the patterned paper and used my rosy dot dies to make the foamiran flowers.

All the items I used (dies, paper, stamens, chord and oil pastels) are available at 14 craftbar.
For the flowers I used white foamiran and made them in the right color with oil pastels. For the black centre I used styrofoam balls (cut in half) and black foamiran to cover the ball.

The tag, label and birdcage are part of the 6x12 paper pack. The matching chord is also available at 14 craft bar. The sentiment stamp is from an Itsy Bitsy stamp set.

This card makes me long for spring even more, but it's to early.

I would like to enter this card in this challenge:

So Suzy Stamps April Release Card

Today the So Suzy Stamps DT is showing more cards with the stamps from the  April Release.

I've created a window card with the cute button flowers and open leaves from the release designed by our very own team member Olesya.

First I stamped the flowers and leaves a few times with memento tuxedo black ink and colored them with my spectrum noir markers in different colors.

Then I created the window card by using two nesti dies and the old cuttlebug.

I placed the flowers and leaves random between the first and second layer and on the top layer to create depth.

Using my misti I stamped the happy birthday sentiment, which is also a So Suzy Stamps stamp.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Hugs, Henriette.

Flowers

There are many beautiful cards around with painted flowers, embossed outlines and watercolor backgrounds.
Inspired by all those creations I tried my own version.
I used a flower stamp set from Dee's Artsy Impressions at Stamploration.
I stamp the flowers on watercolor paper with versamark and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder from Wow. Then I colored in the leaves using my waterbrush and distress markers from Tim Holtz.

I added a sentiment and placed the watercolor paper on purple cardstock.
I just love this color combination of purple/gold/green.
Maybe next time I will also watercolor the background around the flowers to give the card more depth.

I'm entering this card in these challenges:

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Until next time.

Hugs, Henriette.

Tropical Flowers

In contrast to the autumn weather outside and Christmas fast approaching I made a summer card
with tropical flowers.

I used a stencil from Deepti Malik that I purchased at stamplorations.
First I colored the stencil with yellow Tim Holtz distress marker, added water with a mister and rub the stencil on waterpaper (300 gr). Then I used my heatgun to dry the paper.
I placed the stencil on the paper again and with sponge daubers I colored in the flowers and leaves using
vibrant dye inks from Clearly Kelly.
The smile word die is a cutting template from Little Yellow Bicycle.

It is the first card I made using a stencil and I did like working on it.

I would like to enter this card in these challenges:

Pandas

We had some exciting news here in The Netherlands last week.
A zoo not far from were we live are getting two "borrow" pandas from China next year.
My girl and I were very happy to here this news because we're both very fond of these animals and
we always wanted to see one in real life. Next year we have the chance.

By chance the muse card this week by Ardyth Percy-Robb has also pandas on it.

I was inspired by the pandas and the red element.
Here is my card.

The images are clip arts from LookLookPrettyPaper Etsy shop. I LOVE Kawaii images!!
The balloon and hearth were another color, I changed them in red using Photoshop.

I'm entering this card in the MUSE challenge.

Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments!

Hugs, Henriëtte.

Unicorn

I found this cute chubby unicorn freebie at useless trinkets and used it on a birthday card.
She (or he) reminded me of the unicorn in despicable me.
The background I made using memento dew drops inkt pads and lots of water.
The cute unicorn I colored in Photoshop. The balloon are stamps from a previous Simon says stamp card kit.
The sentiment is also from useless trinkets.
It turned out a sweet birthday card in candy colors.
