Alpaca

Inspired by stamping is celebrating there 100th Challenge Anniversary! Congratulations!
You can choose from old and new sketches, color combo's an on trend items for your inspiration.
My inspiration was this beachy color combination.

IBSIC-100---Color-2

Instead of a summer card I made a winter card using the colors.

The stamps are from Lawn Fawn (isn't that a cute Alpaca?).
I colored the alpaca with spectrum noir markers.

Merry Xmas

A few weeks ago I won a $ 25 gift certificate at a blog hop to spend at ink road.
I ordered some great goodies and they arrived yesterday.
Today I made a card using the stamps from Pinkfresh studio: Christmas Wishes.
I adore the cute bear and the sentiment.
The Christmas tree is a digital stamp from Pink Petticoat.

I used this weeks sketch at freshly made sketches.

Have a great weekend and thanks for visiting my blog.

You're a hoot

My card for the casology challenge turned out very CAS. Just an image and a sentiment.
The owl, branch and sentiment are all free downloads at paper smooches.
I made a snow owl using Photoshop and spectrum noir markers, because I just love snow owls.

As I said very clean and simple. I added dimensionals underneath the snow owl.

Snowman and Penguin

The digital stamp on my next Christmas Card is a free download from Eline Pellinkhof. You can find the free download at buddly crafts.

The clouds were made with a template and ink (I used this technique before on a card, you can
find a tutorial link here).

I colored the digital stamp with spectrum noir markers.

(The little nylon flower is a something new I've been trying).

Holiday Wishes

One of my boards on pinterest is "perfect packaging". I love beautiful designs and I wish I was that creative. One of my pins is this fabulous looking design for a healty chocolate alternative and I love the color combination.

I decided to make a card using the color scheme and this is how it turned out.

I used the poppy stamps  poinsettia die again and heat embossed the sentiment on vellum.

Winter Wonderland

My card today is in one of my favorite color combinations: white on kraft.

The trees and deer are stamps from Stampin'up!
I colored the deer using spectrum noirs. The trees, snow and sentiment are heat embossed using
seafoam embossing powder.

A thanksgiving card today.
I colored the pumpkins with spectrum noir. The paper is from basic gray, I think (it was a scrap piece).
I just added leaves and a thanks die cut.

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Prick 'n stitch

This is my first card using prick 'n stitch technique. It was fun to do but I like stamping and coloring much more.
Through Pinterest I found this adorable free prick and stitch pattern of a doggie.
You can find it on stitching cards.com. It didn't take me long to stitch (about half an hour).

Pandas

We had some exciting news here in The Netherlands last week.
A zoo not far from were we live are getting two "borrow" pandas from China next year.
My girl and I were very happy to here this news because we're both very fond of these animals and
we always wanted to see one in real life. Next year we have the chance.

By chance the muse card this week by Ardyth Percy-Robb has also pandas on it.

I was inspired by the pandas and the red element.
Here is my card.

The images are clip arts from LookLookPrettyPaper Etsy shop. I LOVE Kawaii images!!
The balloon and hearth were another color, I changed them in red using Photoshop.

I'm entering this card in the MUSE challenge.

Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments!

Thanks

Usually I color my images in photoshop, sometimes with watercolor pencils or distress markers.
I also do some watercoloring. I didn't have any alcohol markers until this past week. I purchased a set of 72
spectrum noir markers (copics are just to expensive for me, sadly).
I followed all kinds of tutorials on you tube and practice on a few digital images. It isn't easy, I must admit.
I'll be learning by doing it.
My first spectrum noir colored image is on this card. It's a digital image from Birdie Brown.

The paper and thanks stamp are from Stampin'up!
I thought it was funny that the bear would lose some of the apples he was carrying.
The sentiment is stamped with Versamark and heat embossed using seafoam white embossing powder.

For the layout I used this weeks sketch at case this sketch

I miss you watts & watts

The other day I watched this video from Lizzy on Lawn Fawn Youtube channel and I decided to make my own background like Lizzy is showing in that video.
I used an old stamp set from a Simon says stamp card kit.

First I die cut a circle out of the card stock, then I stamped the light bulb on it and sponged it with a mask.
The yellow is a bit out of the lines on purpose. I also stamped a few hearts.
The sentiments are also from the Simon Says Stamp set.

For the layout I used this weeks sketch at freshly made sketches

Black and gold

I'm not that happy with my next card. I got a bit carried away with the glitter paper and glitter embellishments . It doesn't have the clean look I wanted to create. (My daughter even said it looked cheap and tacky).
I used gold glitter paper to cut out the poinsettia. The background is black glitter paper. I also added little bits of gold leaf on it. The sentiment is heat embossed with gold embossing powder from Wow.
I added gray burlap and some red accents.

Poinsettia II

I've made another card using my new poinsettia die cut from poppy stamps.

The paper used on this card is from Deco time, I found it at a Dutch store called Action.
I hope you can see the glitter on it. I also made a little pillow box from the same paperpad.
I stamped the sentiment.
For the layout I used sketch #26 at  your next stamp. I rotated the sketch.
