Love card

Hi friends, today I'm sharing a card I've made with a love/valentines theme.

The gorgeous paper on this card is from lemon craft shop and it's called "beautiful day".
The cute little flowers are also from the lemon craft shop.

The heart is from filigranki. I love this heart. To give it a bit of shine I put rose gold foiling on it.

The love die is from inspired by stamping.

The styrofoam balls are from 14 craft bar, the pink and copper mix.

Craftin Desert Diva's February Moodboard

Today I'm sharing a card inspired by the Craftin Desert Diva's February moodboard.

  

My inspiration for this card is not the colors but the love theme.
I used a digital stamp from craftin desert divas, two cute dogs and made them in love in le city d'amour - Paris.

I did the coloring with my spectrum noir markers. The paper is from a paperpad from a Dutch store (Action). The alpha stickers are from Kelly Purkey.

On the hearts I used some glossy accents.

So Suzy Stamps Swirly hearts

A few DT members of the So Suzy Stamps design team is featuring the same stamp today on their blogs.

The stamp that is featured today is this stunning Swirly hearts stamp.

A great stamp for Valentine's day cards or wedding/anniversary cards.

Here is my creation, I used the distress ink resist technique and another So Suzy stamp: kisses.

It looks like I've used white embossing powder but actually it's clear embossing powder. The white of the paper is shining through.

After I heat set the powder I used several colors of pink/red ink and blended them with a round blending tool.

I've also added some waterdrops and ranger white linen ink spray.

After I die cut the panel I glued it on a dark grey top fold card.

Valentine's Day

Hi and happy 💖Valentine's day💖!!!

Of course I'm sharing a cute Valentine's day card with you today. I also made a little matching treat box.

The sweet bird and the little rose on the heart shaped box are digital stamps from craftin desert divas. I've colored the digital stamps with spectrum noir markers.
The die cuts I used for the card are inside scalloped square dies from craftin desert divas.
Through pinterest I found a template for the little box.
The paper is from a Dutch store (Action).

So Suzy Stamps: Someone special and Masking

The theme all So Suzy Stamps design team members were challenged to work with was "someone special" in combination with masking. Here is the card that came to my mind.

First I die cut a circle out of a post-it and placed that on white cardstock.
Then I used distress inks and some So Suzy ink bites to blend the background (I did take some pictures of that process but they are lost, so sorry about that).
After I was happy with the background I removed the masking circle and added some grey shadow in the moon.

With my mini misty I stamped the cats in a tree , such a cute stamp.

I placed the panel on a top fold piece of white cardstock that I blended with the same colors as that panel. Beneath  the image I stamped the sentiment you're the bomdiggityshizznit.

Guest DT Card for create a smile

I have the pleasure to be this month guest designer at Create a smile challenge.
The challenge theme for the month of February is "Lovely". Just the perfect theme for the upcoming Valentines day.
For this occasion I've made my first clear shaker card.
I've recently purchased a fuse tool and this was my first project.

The cute piggy and sentiment are from a Create a smile stampset called lovely critters.
I did the coloring with spectrum noir markers.
Inside the shaker I placed a piece of patterned paper and heart shaped sequins.

J'adore

Today I'm sharing a different size card. Instead of the usual square or rectangular shaped card, I diecided to make a tall card. It's about 3 by 6 inches with a side fold.

Here are all the supplies I used for this card:

So Suzy Stamps: j'adore, ranunculus outlined and ranunculus solid.

Cardstock: dark grey, light blue and teal blue

Gold glitter paper

White pigment ink pad Ranger

Die from memory box

Flower stamens

Metal thread blue

Blue ink from So Suzy Stamps

Little butterfly die cut (pre cut)

Gold and blue sequins.

First I stamped the flowers on blue cardstock tone on tone with blue ink and fussy cut them.

I die cut the flower from gold glitter paper and used just a few leaves from that die cut.

Then I played around to get a nice arrangement using the metal thread, flower stamens, stamped images and gold leaves until I was pleased with the result. Finally I've added the sequins and the J'adore stamp using my mini misty and white pigment ink.

I think grey, teal and gold is a perfect color combination.

Inspired by stamping Release day 2 blog hop

Today is day two of the release and the design team is sharing cards using the new Love die and Love sentiments stamp set. This stamp set has so many good usable sentiments in it.

Here are my two cards.

For the background I used a stencil. On the dark grey card I applied nuvo embelishment mousse on the stencil for more dimension and on the pink card I used grey ink and a sponge dauber on the stencil. The black hearth is cut out of velvet paper.

So Suzy Stamps Heart Shaped Shaker

Hi, today I'm sharing a heart shaped shaker card. For this card I used two So Suzy stamp: Kisses and Arrow love.

Supplies used:

Grey cardstock
Pink cardstock
So Suzy Stamps  kisses and love arrow.
Heart shaped nesting dies
Heat resistant Acetate from Crafters Companion.
Versamark ink
Gold embossing powder
Clear embossing powder
the ton sequins
Ribbon
So Suzy Stamps ink cube wild watermelon

For my shaker heart I used a technique I saw on Jennifer mcguire .
I taped two pieces of heart shaped dies together and cut out about ten pieces out of pink cardstock and glued them together. I sponged the edge of the top heart with watermelon ink and a fingerdauber.

Glitter card

A quick post today sharing this glitter card.

The stamp is called decorated wishes and is from create a smile, I heat embossed the image and sentiment with gold embossing powder. The die cut is from Little yellow bicycle.

Yesterday I made this card. For the background I used a stencil, daubers and dye inks. 

The cactus and sentiment are stamps from paper smooches. 

The heart balloon is a stamp from a previous simon says stamp card kit.

I colored the cactus with spectrum noir markers.

Tree of Love

Valentine notecards

When I saw these cute notecards at Jennifer Mcquire I just had to make me some.
She made random quotes of kindness (such a great idea). The notecards I made all have a Valentine theme.
You can place the notecard in your partner's lunchbox or coat. Or send one to a secret admirer.

I made 6 notecards (one card was on different color white cardstock, I didn't see that last night but I noticed it
the next morning when I was taking the pictures).
I don't have that bubble die Jennifer used so I cut my notes by hand.
I glued little felt hearts on the cards and used different kinds of sentiment stamps.

Entering this notecard in the just add ink challenge.
