Will you be my valentine?

Valentine is just a few days away and for the occasion I made something different then the usual card this time. I like to make matchboxes with a funny or little surprise inside and I saw this idea on a Dutch craft website. So I made a matchbox with a valentine garland inside.

I made the matchbox using a printable template from http://www.templatemaker.nl/.
You can adjust the measurements for your box so I made this box so the garland could fit.

The paper I used for the box and the circles is from Pebbles called "spring fling".

For the circles I used dies and a punch.

The letters I made in photoshop and printed them out. The circles are 3 layers of paper and I punched holes in it. With a string and needle I made the garland.

The heart on top of the matchbox is an unbranded die from ebay.

When the recipient opens the matchbox and pulls out the garland it says "will you be my Valentine?" I thought this is an original idea for a Valentine surprise, don't you?

Hi and happy 💖Valentine's day💖!!!

Of course I'm sharing a cute Valentine's day card with you today. I also made a little matching treat box.

The sweet bird and the little rose on the heart shaped box are digital stamps from craftin desert divas. I've colored the digital stamps with spectrum noir markers.
The die cuts I used for the card are inside scalloped square dies from craftin desert divas.
Through pinterest I found a template for the little box.
The paper is from a Dutch store (Action).

Guest DT Card for create a smile

I have the pleasure to be this month guest designer at Create a smile challenge.
The challenge theme for the month of February is "Lovely". Just the perfect theme for the upcoming Valentines day.
For this occasion I've made my first clear shaker card.
I've recently purchased a fuse tool and this was my first project.

The cute piggy and sentiment are from a Create a smile stampset called lovely critters.
I did the coloring with spectrum noir markers.
Inside the shaker I placed a piece of patterned paper and heart shaped sequins.

Valentine notecards

When I saw these cute notecards at Jennifer Mcquire I just had to make me some.
She made random quotes of kindness (such a great idea). The notecards I made all have a Valentine theme.
You can place the notecard in your partner's lunchbox or coat. Or send one to a secret admirer.

I made 6 notecards (one card was on different color white cardstock, I didn't see that last night but I noticed it
the next morning when I was taking the pictures).
I don't have that bubble die Jennifer used so I cut my notes by hand.
I glued little felt hearts on the cards and used different kinds of sentiment stamps.

Entering this notecard in the just add ink challenge.

Hello, happy Saturday!

I made another Valentines Tag to enter the tag you're it challenge.

Inspired by this fab tag from Debby Hughes from Lime doodles designs. I always look at her creations with much admiration.

For my tag I used stamps and paper from the simon says stamp Januay 2014 card kit.

I used distress markers to make the heart balloons.

The twine is from whimsy farm twine.

Hi,

Valentine's day is just around the corner and there are many love/valentine card challenges around.
I made a CAS card using mama elephants super cute clear stamp Purrfect pair.
The sentiment is made in Word en printed on the cardstock.
The paper on the bottom is a free download from mein lila park.

Hi,

This month's Alphabet Challenge at Trimcraft is "L for Love".

I made a sweet little card, called "I love us", inspired by my true love Robert.

The cardstock colors used are purple, white, grey and light blue. The white and purple pieces
are die-cuts from my cuttlebug.

The L.O.V.E. image is an embroidary pattern from pinterest. This link leads to

I made a new kind of project this week. It is a mailbox with a valentine's card.
I found the template of the mailbox on simplymodernmom.com.
The idea for the valentine's card I found on craftideas.info.

The paper used on them both is a digital freebie I found on the internet.
The little roses on the card I made myself from fimo.
