Fly like a free bird

Hi, today I'm sharing a card I've made with the pretty papers from Lemoncraft called forget me not.

The blue flowers on the card are from Itsy Bitsy, the white ones I made myself using foamiran and flower centers from 14 craft bar.

This card has a lot of different layers, not only paper layers but also ribbon and lace layers.

I've also added wood accents like the branches. The cage and bird are chipboard elements (from wycinanka ) which I covered with the Forget-me-not patterned paper.

I made the sentiment in Word and printed it out.

I would like to enter this card in these challenges:

Guest Designer at Saratov Scrap

Hi, today I'm sharing a card I've made for this months challenge at saratov scrap Russia.
I was in the top 3 at a previous saratov scrap challenge  and was invited to be a guest designer.

Here is the card I've made for this months challenge at Saratov Scrap.

The inspiration for the challenge is a moodboard.

 Zo mooi bij dag

I was inspired by the rosette, the colors and the bird.

It was the first time I made a rosette, it was easy to do and it makes a wonderful accent on the card. The paper I used is from Mintay Birdsong. And of course I made all the flowers on the card myself using foamiran.

If you would like to join in the challenge please click on the link. Don't let the Russian language scare you, I don't speak a word Russian and luckily there is Google translate.

Just because

Last week I ordered a surprise paper pack with all kinds of different scrapbooking papers and part of this pack were some sheets of the Kaisercraft Fly free Collection.

With these papers and cut outs I made this colorful card.

For the flowers and leaves I used the patterned paper and all kinds of dies I have in my stash.

The sentiment and butterfly are also part of the fly free collection.

I'm entering this card in the following challenge:

Valentine's Day

Hi and happy 💖Valentine's day💖!!!

Of course I'm sharing a cute Valentine's day card with you today. I also made a little matching treat box.

The sweet bird and the little rose on the heart shaped box are digital stamps from craftin desert divas. I've colored the digital stamps with spectrum noir markers.
The die cuts I used for the card are inside scalloped square dies from craftin desert divas.
Through pinterest I found a template for the little box.
The paper is from a Dutch store (Action).

I hope you'll have a wonderful day!!

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs, Henriette.

You're so tweet

Hi, nice of you to drop by!

I used this inspirational photo from paper smooches  for my next card.

The colors were my inspiration.

The bird image is a freebie from Paper Smooches.
I did'nt use any patterned paper just cardstock and cardboard.
The stamps are from a previous card kit from Simon says Stamp.

I'm entering this CAS card in these challenges:

paper smooches: picture perfect challenge
dream valley challenge: distressing (The edges of the cardboard are distressed)
simon says stamp: monday challenge anything goes

Have a nice day.

Bird day

Hi,

Another blog post this wednesday to share with you a card I made using this weeks sketch at Cas(e) this sketch.

Here is my entry:

The bird is a digital stamp from tiddly inks, for the birds.
I colored it in Photoshop and also added the text in the piece of paper that the bird is holding up.
The twine is from whimsy farm twine.

Thanks for the visit. Have a great day.

Hugs
Henriëtte.

Little birdie

Hi,

I designed a card! My first one. Must say I'm pretty pleased with the result.
The inspiration for this card was an image of a cake I found on Pinterest.

   Doesn't this cake looks cute?

I love the colors and design.
I drew a branch with leaves in Photoshop using (free) preset brushes.
I used the same colors as on the cake. The little birdie is also a brush.
The striped paper was the easiest part made in PS.

Today I discovered a sweet blog I must share with you. The blog is called Delightful Distractions.
You can find lots of free printables there, for instance these cute Valentine cards
(maybe a nice tip to give your sweetheart a card tomorrow?).
