Spellbinders large die set of the month October 2021 - Santa's fireplace

Hi and welcome to my blog.

Today I'm sharing my inspiration with the Spellbinders October large die set- Santa's Fireplace.

I can tell you this die set is really awesome!! It has no less than 27 pieces and it's suitable for Christmas but also for thanksgiving. AND it has a kinetic element. If you use the santa hanging in the fireplace the legs move back and forth.

You can watch a reveal of the entire set on the Spellbinders YouTube channel.

I went for a more vintage look and made this cosy Christmas card.

I used Tim Holtz backdrops papers for the fireplace and
the background.

The two Christmas trees are from the October small die set.

This card involved  a lot of die cutting with all the small elements but I do
like how it turned out. It has a nostalgic feel to it.

Warm Wishes

Hi, Happy Sunday.

I do love the cute little rabbit on this Christmas Card. It's a stamp from Memory box and he's adorable.
I've colored the stamp with my spectrum noir markers.

The papers I've used on this card are from a local Dutch store (action) and the dies used are from My Favorite Things.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

outside the box: sequins
Simon says stamp: anything goes
fab n funky: christmas

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Henriette.

Poinsettia

Today I finished another Christmas card. I used a new die I bought at a craft booth on our local market.
It's a poinsettia die from poppy stamps.

I die cut the flower three times, using white glitter paper, vellum and beige cardstock.
The golden bit behind the sentiment and flower is gold angelwire paper.

I made the background in Photoshop, it's kind of a frosting idea in light brown colors.
The snowflakes are punched out of glitter paper. The sentiment is a stamp from a previous Simon says stamp card kit.

I'm entering this card in these challenges:

Have a great day! Hugs, Henriëtte.
