Spellbinders Large Die of the Month February

 Hello, nice of you to visit my blog.

Today I'm sharing two cards I've made with the Spellbinders large die of the month February.

This set is called "Birthday Wishes for Everyone" and it includes 14 cutting dies;  the word happy, numbers from 0 to 9, a line and superscripts.

The first card I've made is for a sweet 16th birthday girl.

I cut strips of paper from different colored cardstock and silver glitterpaper and 

glued these strips to copy paper. Then I die cut the pieces.

This gives a wonderful effect.

The card is embellished with a organza bow and varied sequins.

My second card is for a 40th birthday.

This time I went for a white, black and gold color scheme.

For the flowers and twigs I used the dies from the January large die set.

Magnolia flower card

Today I'm sharing this magnolia card made with the beautiful magnolias stamp set  from Inspired by Stamping.

First I stamped the flowers on white card stock with Memento tuxedo black ink and I colored the images with my spectrum noir markers.

After that I fussy cut the colored images.

I used two dies from the inspired by stamping label dies to cut out labels for the sentiments.

I stamped the word happy with versamark ink and heat embossed it with nuvo silver embossing powder. Then I stamped the word birthday on a piece of fuchia colored cardstock. Both stamps are from the inspired by stamping Happy set.

Finally I assembled my card. The white splatters on the fuchia cardstock I made with Ranger white dylusions ink spray. I also added a few silver dots embellishments.

Inspired by Stamping July Release Day 3

Welcome to Inspired by Stamping’s July 2017 Release! I'm are so happy you are here.

This week Inspired by Stamping is releasing 3 new stamp sets and 2 new coordinating die cuts to their store. All new products are already available in the store! You can visit the store by clicking here.

Today the team is showcasing the new Happy stamp set and die.
I've created 2 cards.  They are very clean and simple cards because I'm in de middle of moving and most of my craft stuff are in moving boxes.

For this card I've used the happy die to cut out the word 3 times using different pattern papers.

The birthday sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder.

For the other card I used the cotton buds stamp technique.

With a cotton bud and different shades of pink ink I made the flowers and then added some green. It's suprisingly easy to make it.

I stamped the sentiment using my mini misy tool.

Happy Spring Birthday

Hello,

Simon says stamp  is celebrating their 6th birthday and the Wednesday Challenge theme is "Happy Birthday".
I made this watercolor CAS card.

First I watercolored the stripe on watercolor paper using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

Then I cut two stripes and printed the sentiment over the top piece. Added a few flower sequins.

Birthday Card - girl with balloons

Hello,

This weeks challenge at casology is mini.

I made this card using a free embroidery pattern instead of a digital stamp. She was just too cute.

You can find the free embroidery pattern at down grapevine lane.

Cute, isn't she?

I colored the pattern digital in photoshop. The dress is red with white polkadot.

The sentiment is part of Pea snowflake doodles font.

I think I should have placed the image a bit more to the left corner, but hey ...
