Spellbinders APG die of the Month December Rose Garden Promise

Hi, I'm excited to share another card I've made with the December

Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die set.

It's called "Rose Garden Promise" and it creates the most beautiful inlaid cards.

There's a video tutorial available on the Spellbinders and Amazing Paper Grace blog on
how to used this die set.

The cardstock I used for this card I made myself using a color palette and Photoshop.
That way I can create any colored cardstock I want.

It was much fun to make this card with the beautiful colors.
I feels like you're making a mosaic.

Crafteezee March Challenge

Hello, it's the first of March and that means today starts a new challenge at
the Crafteezee blog. This month the theme is "Vintage".
I created this tag for inspiration.

The base for this tag are tea dyed papers.
I dye these myself. It was the first time I aged some regular printing paper by tea dyeing and oven baking. It was so much fun to do and I love the vintage look.
There are lots of video tutorials available on You tube if you also want to try it.

For decoration and embellishing I used Mintay papers, tulle, roses and Tim Holtz ephemera.
All products are listed below.

Tea dye paper
Tim Holtz Idea-ology ephemera

Shabby chic hat box

Hi, my second post today is to share with you an altered hat box I've made in a shabby chic style.

I started by giving the box two coats of white gesso. The box is aprox. 17cm diameter. I covered the box with fabrics and creapatch glue. Then I glued on the ribbons and pearls on the bottom and on the lid.

The roses I made with dies from rosy dot and pink, white and green foamiran (bought at 14 craft bar).

Before glueing on the flowers and leaves I've glued on a crochet doily on the lid (bought at a thrift store).

I also added fabric leaves, pearls, beads, crochet circles (from allmacraft), clear drops, ivory bon bons (from crafteezee) and feathers to my box.
