Spellbinders APG die of the Month December Rose Garden Promise

Hi, I'm excited to share another card I've made with the December

Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die set.

It's called "Rose Garden Promise" and it creates the most beautiful inlaid cards.

There's a video tutorial available on the Spellbinders and Amazing Paper Grace blog on
how to used this die set.

The cardstock I used for this card I made myself using a color palette and Photoshop.
That way I can create any colored cardstock I want.

It was much fun to make this card with the beautiful colors.
I feels like you're making a mosaic.

Spellbinder Amazing Paper Grace die of the month November

Hello, it's the first week of a new month and I'm here with the Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace November die set.

This month the set is Christmas related and it has no less then 21 cutting dies!

It's a 3D pop up vignette poinsettia sleigh.

Here's my make:

I choose a gold and light blue color combo for my 3D sleigh.
I think blue and gold work fabulously together.

The flowers are made from white foamiran.
I made 12 flowers in total but there a 3 different kinds.
Four are just plain white and four are light blue
(I coloured the white foamiran with a baby wipe and blue chalks).
The other four have an imprint of the veins. You can achieve this by coloring the veins on the die before cutting the foam. You can use inks or soft pastels to color the die.
For the evergreen I used olive colored foamiran.

I really love this 3D sleigh.
It makes a wonderful Christmas decor piece.

Spellbinders APG die of the month October 3D camera

 Hello everyone!

I'm back with another project using the Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace October die set

designed by the talented Becca Feeken.

This month the club members received a 3D vignette camera.

I created the 3D vignette camera using papers from Carta Bella - Country Kitchen.

On the four panels inside the camera I glued a few recipes.
I thought that would fit the papers very well.

Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace October die set - 3D pop up vignette camera

 Hello everyone.

I'm back with another project using the Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace October die set,

the 3D pop up vignette camera.

This time I created the full 3d camera, which can be laid flat to put in an envelope.

I used black cardstock and silver metallic cardstock. I thought the silver was a bit to shiny so I coated the paper with vintage distress collage medium from Ranger before I cut out the different pieces.

The brown strap is made from kraft colored heavy cardstock which was treated
with ink refresher to give it a faux leather look.

On the lens I wrote with white gel pen Spellbinders APG Oct. 2020.

On the four panels I glued vintage photo's from Craft O Clock - Vintage photoset I.

I really like how this camera turned out. It looks quite real.

Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die of the month October

Hello and welcome to my blog. The Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die of the month October is another awesome design by Becca Feeken.

It's a pop up 3D vignette camera.

You can use it in many ways; as a card, a mini scrapbook or just a beautiful showpiece.

My first project is this card.

The papers I used are from Craft o Clock and Ciao Bella.
I didn't make the 3D version but kept simple with just the front of the camera.

This die set is perfect to make masculine cards.
Don't you just love the sentiment?

Spellbinder Amazing Paper Grace die of the month September

Hello, welcome to my blog.

Yesterday the APG die of the month was revealed on the Spellbinders blog and here's

my card using that awesome die set.

I started by cutting a 6,5 x 6,5 inch square card using gold cardstock.
I die cut the square panels 3 times, twice out of white cardstock and once out of gold cardstock.
I also die cut the outer frame using light blue paper.
I layered all pieces. You get the weave effect by placing the layers on an angle.

I made the sentiment in Word and printed it on the light blue paper.
With the smaller border die cut in the set I created the shape of the sentiment.

I embellished the card with flowers from Prima and Itsy Bitsy,
a few dried flowers (the brown ones) and
gold and light blue leaves (that die is by Crealies).

I love the color combination on this card. The white, blue and gold match well together.

And I was lucky to find the perfect matching flowers in my stash.

Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die of the month August

Hi and welcome to my blog.
I'm so excited to share with you my first project with the August set from

Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace did it again, she designed another awesome
pop up 3D vignette die set. This time it's a telephone.
With this 16 piece die set I've created this lace telephone.

Here are all the different pieces in this set.

On the Spellbinders blog as well as the Amazing Paper Grace blog there is video
tutorial on how to assemble the telephone.

I cut my pieces from the Stamperia papers "Old Lace".

I embellished the front and also the two cards inside with small pieces of lace, little
lace flowers, some lace trims and sparkly gems.

I also made two sentiments in word and printed them on the old lace patterned papers.

There is room for 4 different cards. You can put text on them but also photo's.
Due to the 3D vignette pieces this card can be folded and placed in a regular envelope!
The recipient just has to unfold and admire this gorgeous layered project.

I will be back later this month with another different style telephone.

Oriental card with Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace July die set

Hello and happy Sunday.
I've made another card with this months die set called "Fanfare" from the
Spellbinders Amazing paper grace die of the month club.

The idea is from Becca Feeken, I saw it on her inspiration blog.
The fan motive die can also be used to make a flower.
I thought that was a great idea.

The scrapbook paper set I used is Oriental garden from Stamperia.
It is absolutely stunning!
Using the smal fan die from the July set I cut out 6 pieces and glue them together
in the shape of a flower.

The little black flowers are also made with a die from the APG July set.

With some black chord I made a Chinese knot following a step by step tutorial from a book I
have about different Chinese knots. This one is called the coin knot.
I thought it is a great addition to this oriental card.

Beside the little black flowers I added gold sequins as a contrast.
On the inside of the card I used the big frame die to create some writing space
 on the black paper.
