Spellbinders large die set of the month April - Universal curved border set

 Hi crafty friends!

I'm back to share a card I made with the Spellbinders Large die set of the month April -

the Universal curved borders die set.

This set has 11 cutting dies and you can mix and match them to create beautiful cards.

I made this Mother's Day card.

The pretty flower paper I used is digital from Amity Bloom on Etsy.
The matching sage colored cardstock I made myself in photoshop to match the colors
 in the patterned paper.

I have weaved a ribbon through the holes of the lattice die cut and used that
same ribbon to make a little bow.

I placed an oval lace applique above the ribbon and glued on a small flower
with leaves which are part of the die set,

The sentiment is made in word and printed on ivory cardstock.

On the upside of the card I attached a pretty ribbon trim.

Spellbinders small die of the month April - Stitched Thanks

 Hello friends!

It's time to share my makes with this months small die set from Spellbinders.

It's an awesome set if you like stitching.

I do like stitching very much so I made two cards this month to share with you.

The first is made using black cardstock and bright colors of embroidery threads.

I used DMC embroidery floss.
The thanks letters are die cut from black glitter paper and behind it
I glued blue mirrowed cardstock. This give an awesome effect.

The second card is made in soft sage green and pink colors.

This die set will give you hours of relaxing stitching time.

Spellbinders large die of the month February

Hi, I'm back with yet another card using the Spellbinders Large die of the

 month February 2021.

I've already showed you two other examples, you can find them here in this blog post.

This card is a clean and simple card.

I started with an 13,5 x 13,5 cm top fold ivory card base.

I rounded the bottom corners using a cornerpunch from Vaessen creative.

Next I die cut the word happy, the numbers and the superscript out of patterned papers

from Lemoncraft called "Yesterday".

Once out of the flowery patterned paper and once from the mint colored paper.

I glued the flower patterned die cuts off set on the mint colored.

Behind the mint piece I glued 4 layers of white cardstock die cuts, so the letters and numbers are pretty thick.

I glued them on a paper panel and added mint colored enamel dots.

This card is simple and easy to make, most of the time goes into the gluing of the layers.

Spellbinders Club Kits Blog Hop

Hello, welcome at the SPELLBINDERS CLUBS January Blog Hop

The Spellbinders design team have created gorgeous projects with the January kits to share with you. Please check each blog on the hop for inspiration.

Hopefully you have found your way to me after checking out Jean Manis blog.

For my card I was inspired by the cute sweethearts candy.

These iconic heart shaped candies are perfect to celebrate Valentine and to use in

combination with the January large die set

I used this color palette to make my own colored cardstock and cut out all the elements.

I used a slightly darker colored cardstock to offset the die cuts.

On the three larger hearts I printed Valentine sayings.

Finally I've added a bundle of flowers and sprigs beneath the yellow heart.

Spellbinders small die of the month January 2021

 Hello everyone!

As of January 2021 I'm part of the Spellbinders large and small die of the month

design team and here's my first card with the January small die set called "Love card creator".

I love this die set, it is very intricate and pretty.

This lovely card creator has 4 cutting dies and you can create beautiful love cards
 with it for many occasions.

I used this color scheme with the pretty dusty blue and pink to create my card.

I die cut the heart shape in the center two times, one in light pink and one in darker pink.
If you glue the pieces slightly offset, you'll get a great effect.

I've added little white pearls on the flowers in the centre panel and blue pearls in the 4 corners.
The sentiment is made in word and then printed on the dusty pink paper.

Spellbinders large die of the month January 2021

Hi and welcome to my blog.

First I would like to wish you a Happy New Year.

May 2021 bring you lots of  happiness, love, good health and laughter!!!

Today I'm sharing my first project with the Spellbinders large die of the month.

Last year I was a designer for Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace monthly die set, but this year I'm sharing my inspiration with the large and small die sets.

Today this month's large die set; a slimeline die called "kaleidoscope hearts"

This set has 10 cutting dies and is perfect for your Valentines cards but also

for wedding/engagement cards.

I made my own cardstock by using this color scheme.

With photoshop I've created the colored cardstock I wanted to use in my card.

I die cut all the pieces, the larger panel is die cut twice, once in light pink the other in a darker
pink to offset the pieces for a more whimsical look.

Just look at those adorable little flowers and leaves! They are super cute.

I made the sentiment in Word and printed it on pink cardstock.

If you've fallen in love with this die set as I did then please visit the

I hope you'll visit me on the 7th when I'm sharing my make using the
Spellbinders small die set.

Thanks!

Spellbinder Amazing Paper Grace die of the month September

Hello, welcome to my blog.

Yesterday the APG die of the month was revealed on the Spellbinders blog and here's

my card using that awesome die set.

I started by cutting a 6,5 x 6,5 inch square card using gold cardstock.
I die cut the square panels 3 times, twice out of white cardstock and once out of gold cardstock.
I also die cut the outer frame using light blue paper.
I layered all pieces. You get the weave effect by placing the layers on an angle.

I made the sentiment in Word and printed it on the light blue paper.
With the smaller border die cut in the set I created the shape of the sentiment.

I embellished the card with flowers from Prima and Itsy Bitsy,
a few dried flowers (the brown ones) and
gold and light blue leaves (that die is by Crealies).

I love the color combination on this card. The white, blue and gold match well together.

And I was lucky to find the perfect matching flowers in my stash.

Spellbinders August Clubs Blog Hop

Hi, welcome to my blog and to the Spellbinders August Clubs Blog Hop.

I'm last one on the list and you have already seen a lot of amazing projects with the
August club kits.

I'm sharing my make using the Amazing Paper Grace telephone die set.

This time I went for a little childhood nostalgia in the form of a

vintage black bakelite phone. To give it more interest I've added some copper elements.

Here are the 16 pieces die set designed by Becca Feeken. It's very easy to assemble all the pieces together. There is a video on the Amazing Paper Grace blog on how to do it. http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/pop-up-telephone/

The awesome thing about this set, besides that they make a pop up 3D card,
is the possibility to add multiple cards or photo's on the receivers.
I kept it simple with just one card, a "call me" sentiment.

You can find a very different sample on how to use these dies in my previous post:

Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die of the month August

Hi and welcome to my blog.
I'm so excited to share with you my first project with the August set from

Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace did it again, she designed another awesome
pop up 3D vignette die set. This time it's a telephone.
With this 16 piece die set I've created this lace telephone.

Here are all the different pieces in this set.

On the Spellbinders blog as well as the Amazing Paper Grace blog there is video
tutorial on how to assemble the telephone.

I cut my pieces from the Stamperia papers "Old Lace".

I embellished the front and also the two cards inside with small pieces of lace, little
lace flowers, some lace trims and sparkly gems.

I also made two sentiments in word and printed them on the old lace patterned papers.

There is room for 4 different cards. You can put text on them but also photo's.
Due to the 3D vignette pieces this card can be folded and placed in a regular envelope!
The recipient just has to unfold and admire this gorgeous layered project.

Thanks for stopping by.
I will be back later this month with another different style telephone.

Hugs, Henriëtte.
